OK... It's done... I have made a decision and bought a gimbal... Moza Mini MX. The main reason why, is that the application on Android works well on my Samsung Galaxy A51 - Moza Genie version 1.3.13 works flawless (latest version 2.3 works very sloooow). I have considered also DJI OM4, but Filmic Pro did not work on my phone. Most of the above information was provided by your videos. Thank you for this. As soon as I get the gimbal (means tomorrow :) ) I will let you know whether it meets my expectations.

I am on my second iSteady x (the replacement, which is not working) and I am in the process of sending it back, so the information you provided is great. I was leaning towards the DJI OSMO Mobile 3 and you affirmed my choice. I will, however, wait until you post the next video before I make a final decision. Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

First I was going for the Osmo 3....Then I watched some reviews and considered the Moza mini MX....and the difference between the prices was just about 20 usd so it was not much. But I chosed the Moza ... What do you think of my desition? Was it not a good one?

Thank you for the great comparison video. Ninja walk all the gimbals are great. I use my Moza mini s in combination with my Oppo Reno 2z and Huawei P20 pro and it works great together. No lags or problem whatsoever. Because the Oppo has the 4 camera's in the middle of the phone I have to move the phone a bit to the left but it works and is stable. Zhiyun Smooth 4 is the winner ! Hi Zdenka , I have worked in professional production, (the counselor, 2nd best marigold hotel, assassins' creed, ... many more and music videos, I have produced TV shows also.. I tried the ROllei and the DJI they don't stabilize at all when you do a days worth of work, come home to check your footage, although playback on phone looked ok, and you find shake everywhere then you say, you need something else, so I went with Zhiyun , and no complaints, although my phone is not fully compatible, so one of the great cinematic features is harder to create, I have some great footage and their app along with Filmic Pro really gives some incredible shots. I never owned big expensive gear, I have great cameras for photography, and now I get a EOS R6 as my first mirrorless so I have to get a gimbal for that also, but my Pocophone F1 does 4K video so what to complain ? except it is not full frame, but great enough for weddings, and music videos or other videos alike.

I've got a dji osmo mobile3 and smooth4 mostly for my garden views channel, they are amazing really for the cost. I've been using the smooth4 on the end of a 2 metre pole to film gardens and fish close up, my phone is a sony xperia 5 and filmic pro. both gimbals show up on the wide lens

This is the first video I've seen from your channel! You covered a lot of ground. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and statistics! I just bought a Moza Mini Mi last week to shoot real estate videos with an LG G7 in wide angle mode. I found that the gimbal housing is visible unless I move the phone way out and use a counter-weight that I made by wrapping lead solder around a phone pop-up socket and sticking it to the end of the arm, about 2 ounces. Not elegant but potentially workable. It feels heavy! With your broad experience, can you recommend a 3-axis gimbal (like the Hohem iSteady X here) that has 1) clear view for wide angle lens, is light-weight so It's not too heavy to stick on a pole for drone shots? Inception mode not necessary, super wide range pan, roll, and tilt not critical. The Hohem iSteady X looks like a good option. Any other suggestions? Thank you!
Unfortunately the only one which doesn’t show motor in the shot is honestly still Hohem
@@ZdenkaDarula Thanks for your reply. I was doing more research on the Hohem today and it looks like it will work for me. I confirmed (somewhere) that the Hohem app must be used to switch modes, but that won't take but a couple seconds and not likely something I will need to do shooting vanilla real estate videos. I'm planning to order one from Amazon this evening.

Have you tried the Snoppa Atom gimbal? It was the first foldable phone gimbal on the market. DJI ripped off Snoppa's design when they created the Osmo Mobile 3. the Snoppa Atom seems to have many if not most of the features of the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 but also add the ability to connect a wired microphone via the Gimbal hande through a 3.5mm connection (e.g., a lapel mic or even a wireless mic without having to balance it on top of the phone) and it wirelessly charges your phone (with it's 24hr battery) when you attach it to the gimbal, the motors support a payload of 310g, and the gimbal can actually rotate 360, 720, etc completely unobstructed. Maybe you should consider adding it to the mix.

The replaceable battery on Smooth Q2 is a very big pro to me, no need to buy another gimbal just buy a new 21700 Li-ion battery and you're good for another year. Nice vid❤️

Very useful!! It would be great if Filmic Pro added native Hohem iSteady X compatibility, and it would be the definitive anamorphic/wide angle lens ihone 11 pro RIG, don't you think? By the way... does the Hohem iSteady app allow you to control gimbal movement connecting from another phone via bluetooth (like a joystick)?

Great info but what about audio and use of shielded mics on gimbals. So many blogs are ruined by the audio. Keep up the good work.

Awesome video really. Im just mad after finding out you can see the motor in the shot with the wide view lenses with basically all of the gimbals.
Unfortunately.... just move the phone to the side. It should be ok
usually if your phone is small or the wide angle is closer to the middle of the phone. what i do on my samsung is, i turn on the stabilization and it crops in alittle, and removes the gimbal.
