I was hoping fo this feature to come out.
This means can i use my wide angle lens from my native camera app and still use modes like all locked, pan & Tilt, tillt lock and POV?

Ok, I have to write now. Mode change W/O the app: hold down the rec button, and then click once to four times with the power on/off button... Moreover, the led blinks the mode nr. So easy. None of the testers/influencers knew it. Don't know why- they really should... (to know: I upgraded to the latest SW out of the box, so don't know if it was the reason)
I just bought one after watching your clip. $69. Arrives tomorrow.

I have one of these. It's pretty good! Couple of things:
The tripod is too flimsy. I wouldn't use it outside. Better, slightly bigger ones aren't expensive.
I wish the horizontal pan could be locked when the gimbal is powered off. It means the phone has to be taken out and the unit powered down and folded up when not in use.

I have this gimbal, but I'm looking for something better. I use an LG V40 phone, and the android app is nowhere near as good as what they developed for IOS. Only 30fps, no 60, you can't choose which lens to use, and the V40 has 5 of them, and there's just a lot missing. I think they should charge less for the Android version, otherwise, they should only say it works with IOS. As a piece of hardware, it works well, it's easy to use, and so, with the native camera app in the V40, it's pretty good, but.......... as I said, nowhere close to what it does with an iphone.

Very helpful video! In your opinion, what mode do you think would be best while mounting it to the front of a boat, with the camera pointing forward/ahead of the boat?

Hi, I bought a recent isteady x, I've enabled it in the app, and I've already done some tests and use, and now when starting it it imitates two beeps in a row while the axes are out of control, and the device turns off, could you help me with what may be this problem?

Have you ever reviewed the Feiyu vlog pocket? Price is about the same, and it seems to be better. At the very least you can change the lock/follow modes just using the trigger there.

Unfortunately, having to use an app to change the modes is EXTREMELY ANNOYING because these apps don't always work with Android phones fully. I have had a terrible experience with the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 and their app won't even let me shoot 1080p 60fps even though my native camera app can do it. That is such a big deal breaker for me.
