Completely agree! What a great time to join! Between the helpful community, the library of knowledge, and the current buying power, you can really set yourself up nicely.

There are more breeders than ever but that also means there are more people you can ask questions than ever. There is so much information out there and more than likely someone in your area who you can interact with. But that also means you can cross examine good/bad information to know what others have experienced and prevent more mistakes.
Definitely positives in the “negatives” if that’s what you want to call them.

I would also say the cost per snake for breeders like kinova or Royal Constrictors versus a smaller breader is different. They buy rats for example at a bigger bulk for a better price. They might buy coco blocks at a different price point than a new breeder who buys less. This means their cost per animal can be less and have better profit margins than newer breeders and better prices.

Amazing point! There likely are some economies of scale though it is really nice that ball pythons are such an easy species to care for that small people can still break in and be profitable

I think the next topic is should people continue to look for wild caught for new genes or continue compounding genes for that new look.

Me and my girlfriend have decided to start breeding ball pythons recently. We are both so amazed by the amazing helpful people in this industry. It definitely is a lot of learning but it is enjoyable. We are UK based called Celtic Exotics 😊

    Love the content
    Love this video
But as a snake lover I can say buying an adult ready to go might b faster to get started breeding but it dose not feel as good as watching a baby grow from fitting in ur hand to needing two hands to hold ur adult ball python
There's a feeling of accomplishment that comes with eating ur baby's grow up lol
Personal opinion meny may not agree

I think both is the way to go. If u want to grow quickly at least. Depends on what you're trying to accomplish
