anyone can help me, when to build farm or quarry? because im new and just know that food would generate more populations when is the right timing to build them?
food is great early on at the start of a city cuz u need that to get more areas and quarry is good if u need lots of buildings for a city. But i always start with food 3 farms than 3 quarrys is a good amount
How is sieging cities supposed to work? Am i supposed to draw enemies out and pick them off first? Seems like they have so many units garrisoned in their castle that my teams always get wiped...even with siege supports.
I find it best to bring multiple stacks of units to take a city 3 stacks can fight a battle so you can have 18 units. Should be enough to overwhelm any garrison but if the hero comes back with an army or 2 you might have an 18 vs 18 battle
Been trying to figure out how to even create a new outpost for 2 days now lol. I think I see how now, click hero, then click on tile? Not intuitive at all, really should just be a button or keybind imo
I have created an Outpost but the Found new city option doesn't appear. I play with Elven Mystics and no special option like one city challenge. I can still have 2 more cities. Anyone know why is that?
Thats odd i know it takes a few turns for the outpost to be built but than when u click out it you get the option to make it a city and that will take a few turns as well. Maybe it is in a location that a city can tbe build like terrain that is uninhabitable ?
the closest answer i got is if u do production at an outpost it might be a waste mainly u want an outpost to get a resource that is empire wide like gold knowledge or mana. I wouldnt do growth or production at an outpost unless you plan to turn it into a city
Can someone help me? i cant build citiesa from my outposts. I got about 5 outposts, but i cant build cities from them ( got only my throne city). Never. Got someone some tips? And no, its not near the enemy. I am trying to find solution for about month, but still cant find it
Even after you've established an outpost, you'll need a hero to upgrade it to a city. This means positioning your hero strategically for future city expansion. Are you doing this or just trying to upgrade with no hero in the city?
@@faizedfoxgaming7426 well... i tried. My hero standing on the outpost and still nothing. So i dont know how to do it. Looks like i have to play 1/1 city/hero :D
@@faizedfoxgaming7426 no... second hero you can get after you build second city. But i cant build second city :D i tried to find it but everywhere they can just build city like nothing...
Do you know what causes new heroes to be recruitable. The ones from your own empire not the vassals. I’m guessing it’s either the wizard tower construction or founding new cities. Not really sure which.
@@faizedfoxgaming7426 ah I think I worded that poorly. I meant increasing the amount of recruitable heroes to pick from. Unless you did understand me and it works that way for both lol. Plus I’m pretty sure you can get more heroes than cities it just costs upkeep.
@@neetfreek9921 As far as i understand you can recruit from friendly races, so befriending neutral cities or taking over cities of different races. with certain speciel buildings and befriending other players you may increase the amount of recruitable heroes as well, i think.
@@neetfreek9921 oh i gotcha you get more hero options as you progress in the game. More heroes are available. Your hero cap is relative to the cities you own but u can go over it just costs gold in upkeep instead of being free

How come I don’t get the option to build a city after I’ve built an outpost? I have enough imperium to build one too.
for every city you want to build you need a hero. so you need a 2nd hero to build a 2nd city and so on

I agree its not very intuitive. You just have to have hero on tile than click tile and you will have option to make an outpost

Does Outpost production do anything at all? Far as I know its based on the Outpost and used by it, not by a city.

you may need a 2nd hero 1 per city im pretty sure you cant make another city unless u have a 2nd or 3rd or 4th hero for each city 1 per city
