So sad that after his girlfriend left him and he lost his job and his parents died he had to go through that terrible experience of coming across a family who was killed by a wendigo and then got chased by it until it got struck by lightning and he jumped off a cliff but at least he got saved by a thunderbird that caught him like that scene in the lord of the rings and brought him to Colorado where he immediately met his dream girl who was a truck driver.
@@DrakenhofTemplars that being said you might wanna rub ash on your shoes next time you leave. Dogmen and Sasquatch are scary but Wendigo and Skinwalkers are just terrifying. Just the idea that a person could become one of those makes it somehow worse.
@William Patterson well yes and no, I mean dark spirits and evil aligned mutant/magical beasts when I refer to monsters, a thunderbird is a good aligned magical beast, so I refer to it as a beast and not a monster for reference, Thor also has to magical regenerating goats so exceptions exist when referring to all magic mythological and fantasy beasts as monsters.
the first story teller’s mother’s account was most likely a trafficker. I’ve heard similar stories of meowing coming from an unknown source to draw women out. Heard one girl say she stepped out to check on meowing and saw a man in her bushes meowing at her. skinwalker or not, be weary !!!
I gotta say listening to this and almost shitting myself isn't really helping me to actually go to sleep because I'm getting scared listening to the stories, but damn these are well made my man
I think everyone should always become alert when your dog begins to growl, stare or whine at something in the dark. Don't have to be go mental cause the dog feels uncomfortable but just be alert
Plot twist twist. She was also saved by the thunderbird and would believe him if he told her. But he never does because he thinks she’ll call him crazy
The last story actually reminded me of something. I doubt it was anything supernatural, but it was pretty scary, especially as a woman. I live in the country, I always have, which is why I moved into my first own apartment in the country. Surrounded by woods and fields. I do not have a dog, but a cat which is very similar to a dog xD. And I always took her for a walk at night because she never liked to go out alone and I had a lot of trouble sleeping at that time because of stress for studying. Most of the time she always stayed near me, but sometimes she liked to roam around and if she was too far away for me, I would whistle and call for her. This story made me remember the night to which I never gave much credit. I live in a pretty safe neighborhood as far as people and animals are concerned, so I always assumed (and still assume) that somebody was playing a joke on me, who also couldn't sleep at the moment. But something whistled back. Kleo my cat was already with me and seemed frightened, but since she doesn't like other people either, this is not unusual. I immediately turned around and went home with her while I heard someone whistling in the background a few times. After that it never happened again and nothing followed me or anything. But to think back now with this story in the back of my mind it is a bit scary xD.
I don't remember if this is true or not but from a friend of mine who's a full blooded native American he told me that if you whistle back to a skinwalker when it whistles it will think you're another one of it's kind and leave you alone. So what you did might have saved your life
Thank you for the content I really love listening to this channel I work in construction as an operator and I can listen to all your stories all day long and it gets me through the day of course looking over my shoulder for a skinwalker now and then but I really love your content thank you so much :)
The one with the wendigo and the cat reminds me of something I experience a lot. Whenever my mom is out doing errands and it’s just me and my brother I’ll hear these cat sounds outside, my brother doesn’t hear it though because he’s playing game in the garage whenever she’s out. The thing is I live in what is considered an Urban area, so no wendigo or skinwalker would be here.
Story 3 makes me mad. Spoilers for story 3 below- Why didn’t he tell his wife about the creature? What if it mimics his voice and leads her over to it and she gets attacked or killed? It’s stupid to hide stuff like that from people even if they think that you’re crazy or pulling their leg, they should still be told. The last thing most people want is someone they care about harmed
Dude listened to this creeped me out on a bike ride so I almost crapped myself when I saw the slightest movement in the forest my Edit my comment appeared twice that’s creep
I love the 2nd story, he encountered two cryptids and I imagined there was an epic monster battle of a giant electric bird and an invincible zombie beast.
The meowing in one story could be different animal ike bird or something. Maybe some young bird or small mammal searching his mother and crying for her and it was scared of the woman so it escaped into the forest. Probably bird or small mammal so she didn't notice the movement. Baby animals are often darker color so they can hide in grass or on the ground. I sometimes heard kitten like sounds from different animals in the forest, it's just coincidental similarity.
