    Excellent tutorial! I’m just starting weaving and I like the pendant you made, as well as the clarity of the instruction. Yours is the best of the beginning weaving videos I’ve seen.

    Your channel popped up on my screen. Glad it did. Just got through making this pendant. Not too bad but will make it again and It will be really pretty ( I hope), the first one just needs a little adjustment and I can wear it with a cord. Thanks for doing this!

    Very awesome tutorial, beautiful pendants!😄 I was wondering after you patina your piece what can you use from keeping it from staining your clothing or turning your skin green from the patina? Thanks Kelly very great explanations! Really appreciate it! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

    • @TheSirenandThePirate
      @TheSirenandThePirate  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Richard, Thank you so much! Once you patina the piece and polish it you shouldn't have any issues with the patina coming off on clothing. As for turning the skin green- there is not much to be done here. Copper will turn the skin green, but this can be an indication that your body is absorbing the copper- which can have good benefits. I find that rings and sometimes bracelets turn my skin green, but not pendants or earrings because they are in contact with a less sweaty surface area of the body. The good thing is that the green can easily wash off with soap and water and the jewelry will not be damaged. I do hear there are types of clear coatings that can be applied copper to help keep its color and prevent it from turning the skin green, but I do not use any clear coatings on my pieces. I Hope this answers your question. Thanks for watching!
