I love his comments like "you wont see the inside of a restaurant for 3 years unless your working there" lol. It's so true though
Hi guys, my boyfriend has been acting strangely for about 2 months now, so I told my brother about it and he referred me to ZEUSHACKERS01 at OUTLOOK d0t com. It was like magic when they helped me hacked his phone and gave me access to his social media accounts and also recovered his deleted messages with a lady he was cheating with. They also help in email hacking, changing school grades and lots of hacking services. Tell them I referred you
You realize you broke the law
That is pretty crazy, how much money are people spending in restaurants? even a nice restaurant will only cost maybe 150 for two. Even if they do that once or twice per month that is not going to add up to 90 something k any time soon. Stopping going out is not really going to get them anywhere. It is a bit excessive.
@crazylalalala he’s saying every dollar counts. Read “The Richest man in Babylon” the explain getting rid of debt well too. They’ve treated yourself enough, that’s how they got in their situation.
"not going to see the inside of a restaurant unless it is to serve the people you worked with during the day ". lol
Feel the pain now; to feel the peace later... priceless.
Just like any other worthy undertaking :) Similar to retooling your skills to switch industries.
Wow- I made that comment a year ago. You replied last week and last week I quit my job. I needed a change and know its going to require a new skill set. Talk about a comment well timed!
ThatOldBiddy oh wow!! Are you good with computers? What are you thinking of getting into??
I've spent most of my career doing something with Information systems. The last 6 years have been as a Manangement Analyst. I'm just burned out and need a fresh start. Which will require your "retooling" Hope all is well with you. :)
Burned out? Uh oh! That can happen to the best of us lol. If you are going to stay in that Industry or not, my advice is to get the money together to hire a known, professional resume writer and write a good cover letter and get it all over town and all over the internet. What are you looking to get into?
I'm about 10,000 in debt plus two cars totaling 37,000. After seeing this video I cancelled a Disney world vacation I had planned for December, bam, 4,000 that I'm using towards paying debt, thanks for the wake up call, go through pain to live in peace later!
Good for you!!! Change the way you "think" about money & watch your whole situation change. Find out the "reporting date" creditors report to the credit bureau and make sure you pay before that date. (Don't worry about "due date"). Also pay your bills TWICE a month to be ahead of the game.
Eat at home, cancel cable, don't celebrate pagan holidays, save money, pay bills, and "live within your means". You will be DEBT FREE!!!! Go Daniel!!!!
Good Luck to you ...... wishing u all the best
Clown Baby 🤗😍😘
Are you really proud you cancelled a 4k luxury vacation?
Wow a 4k vacation
Sometimes listening to these people makes me feel better about my situation.

I owe T-Mobile $1,500 and like $1000 in credit cards and thought I was bad
Thats why most people watch reality tv/day time television in my opinion.
I listened to him a while back. And his message was basically don’t live outside your means. I’m almost there. Almost out of debt.
Great Point Paul, And you are the only one who pointed the larger picture out
I’m here 2 years later. I wish you’ve reCh your target. I hope you will have a great year.
In the old days being in debt to someone meant you owed them years of labor. It just dawned on me that today, it's the same thing, except no ones forcing us. We have to force ourselves.
Well said. We have to force ourselves to work back the debt we signed for.
It is called economic slavery.

Omg same with me. But that bank account is growing . I want to retire being debt free and not needing to work.

I have a $900 van, peeling paint, looks ghetto but runs like a top. Plus, I'm a 62-year-old woman who works on her own cars...it's 23 years old but it's paid for! I am spending $300 on paint and supplies to paint it myself. Shop at Goodwill, but have to discipline myself in impulse buys at the grocery store. Motivated now to sell everything in my storage unit! That's $230 a month I can use to pay off debt!
That's what I did. Cleared the storage unit and sold everything in it and put it toward my 20K debt. Only 700 left will be debt free in 2 payments.
SoCal Indi that is awesome.
So smart to sell your stuff in storage! Where we live there are storage unit places all over the place !!! Not cheap! Go through your stuff, it won’t be easy…but is it worth it?
My heart was breaking for this guy as I heard his story, but the advice he received was priceless!
My heart broke not at all. He got himself into that debt, and then makes a passing comment that because of his debt he doesn’t have enough money to save for a wedding. This means he’s going to go right back into debt on an elaborate wedding, it does not cost that much to get married.
The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich ". These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.
Money invested is far better than money saved , when you invest it gives you the opportunity to increase your financial worth
"It is remarkable how much long term advantage people like us have gotten by trying to be consistently not stupid , instead of trying to be very intelligent."
The wisest thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government paycheck, especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a time to invest in Stocks, Forex and Digital currencies.
I also keep seeing lot's of people testifying about how they make money investing in Stock, Forex and Crypto Trade(Bitcoin) and I wonder why I keep loosing. Can anyone help me out or at least advice me on what to do.
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others.
Dave Ramsey's insights have been a game-changer for me! His practical approach to financial management has empowered me to take control of my money and work towards a debt-free life. The Total Money Makeover is my go-to guide, and I appreciate how he breaks down complex concepts into easy-to-follow steps.
This video spoke to my soul. 20k in debt split down the middle between car debt and credit card debt. Thankfully I don't have school loans but.... I hate this debt. 20k is WAY too much and I needed this VIDEO especially comming off of 20+ hours of OT st work this past 2 weeks.
The deeper you sacrifice, the faster you get out and the higher probability you make it out

Dave Ramsey is very cut and dry but that's what we need to hear.
i really love that about him!
If they really want to get married, just go to the courthouse! It's way cheaper then a big wedding, and you're just as married! If a big wedding means that much, make it a financial goal once y'all are out of debt, and do it on your anniversary. Now sell the car, and get one that will get you to point a and b, and is safe for the baby, Mr. Ramsey gave some great advice, let's hope he takes it.
I paid 17000 in one year and I saved up 10 000 dollars when every other year I would wrk, waste the money and not know where it went. I have a notebook that I carry everywhere with me. In it, I write how much I am getting paid and who I have to pay by the end of the pay period. However much I am left with at the end, goes to debt. It works wonders.
You don't have to have a fancy expensive wedding. Get married on someone's nice lawn with a handful of folks, some free music, and have everyone bring a dish!
Better yet, get married at the courthouse.
Very true
Yes, I agree he can go to the City Hall and get married. Look at how much money they will save

Good god...my wife and I often wonder how all of the people we know are living like upper middle class with average jobs and 3 kids. Now I know. It’s all financed.
This is why we don’t keep up with the Jones’s
I've always wondered this too!
This could be true. But some people may just have more money than you. They could be financing something just because they can even if they have the money. Keep this in mind as well. Some people just make more.
4:46 I love how everyone says they are upside down on their cars. Exactly, its the only thing you buy that goes down in value as you use it BUT you still have to pay what it was worth when you bought it. Car loan=Always upside down.
+peartfaldo My car has gone down in value but it's worth more than I owe on it, therefore I'm not upside down. If I sold it I would "make" money, only I wouldn't really since I'd be getting less for it than I paid two years ago. The trick is to buy in cash or pay your loan off ahead of schedule.
+peartfaldo That is not entirely true. You need to buy a car that doesn't drop like a rock, all cars go down but some brands go down slower. You also shouldn't be borrowing so much that you're upside down the second you drive off the lot. I have never been upside down on a car loan.
Not always upside down....depends on the car you get and if you're making minimum payments. Plus if you paid a 3-6 year loan, that means your car would have zero value at the end of the loan, which won't be true :)
+Jason I agree. I had a jeep and that car was worth alot more paid off than I expected. however I now how a chevy cobalt even though I have less then 75000 miles on it, it is only worth 2000 if that. but it runs good and is paid.
+peartfaldo unless you roll out the cash like I did...I basically caught a steal and I have it paid off in less than 8 months.
Pain is love. This video just reassured me that I am on the right wave length..... Sacrifice now and have financial freedom later
I could feel this guys pain. Living life on debt is no fun whatsoever.
My grandson followed your advice and got out of debt. Thanks !!
I like how I’m over here sweating over 6 grand in collections debt and a didn’t realize people had over 59 grand in debt.
What do you need a 27k car for? Buying a brand new car at that price is a luxury. If you're broke you really don't need that
CAR DEBT IS STUPIDITY. If you want to buy a car for 27k. You should be debt free. And have 50k in the bank minumum. Or you have no business buting a 27k car.
Exactly !
i agree .,...you better be making 100k plus a year if your buying 27k car.
Agreed !
I make 63k a year and I bought a 30k car last year... I'll have it paid off by next year.... BUT I don't have kids and the only other debt I have is 30k left on my house
The deeper the sacrifice, the faster you get out. And the higher the probability you'll get out at all.
I did the every dollar budget and learned a lot! It was easy and so helpful. I printed it out and study it every month.
This advice is an insane way to pay down debt. Don't go anywhere or do anything ever for years? I would rather be in a bit of debt and enjoy my life. Tomorrow is never promised.
if thats the argument, just go all out right now!
not me. no pain, no gain!
If you’re responsible enough you won’t have to go to extremes to get out of debt. Just live a balanced life in the first place! Lol
6/7/19.....Guy is a fool #1.....Has $27,000. car that he "shares with GF" + they have a baby & haven't got enough $$$ for a wedding!
Her $7,000. college debt + his larger college debt + $20,000. in credit card debt! Over $90,000. in debt & YOU THINK HECSHOULD BE ABLE TO GO OUT & EAT + LIVE A LITTLE NOW?
SOUNDS LIKE THIS GUY HAS ALREADY DONE A LOT OF LIVING + FOOLING AROUND WITHOUT BOTHERING TO MAKE THEIR BABY LEGITIMATE!
THIS GUY NEEDS TO KEEP HIS ZIPPER CLOSED & BE A REAL MAN & GET TO THE COURTHOUSE & GET MARRIED...
THEN BE HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD & WORK HARD & PROVIDE A HOME FOR HIS FAMILY & MAKE SURE THESE DEBTS ARE PAID OFF ASAP!
I am inclined to agree....I want to enjoy my life while I am here....I love going out to eat and don't EVER see myself giving that up lol...but on another bit I am NEVER gonna be in debt like this either....if I can help it....me and my gf have good steady income not rich but not drowning in debt 2 kids and small amount of debt that we are actively paying off.....so our life is good🤷♀️
Excellent advice....I totally agree...because I have been there and gotten out of debt completely. It took a few years...
Sold the house which was way too expensive...moved into a nice 1 bedroom apartment for 1/3 cost of my mortgage.
Sold the fancy car and bought an older model for cash. Paid all credit cards....I learned...Big Time.... Now only have a debit card and one credit cards with $5,000.00 credit available....if I use them I pay them off. I now have excellent credit and no worries. Living simply and more happy...no stress.....Now the credit card companies keep trying to lure me into more debt with tons of credit card offers.....Forget it!
He should have a “where are they now” show. I’d love to know if some of these people listened & in fact tackled their debt.
I only want to be financially comfortable, support my family, get my kids on the property ladder, and enjoy my retirement when it arrives. I want to consolidate everything into a safe investment, but I have many random companies that are at a loss from my previous investments. Should I sell them at a loss and reinvest that money into my top stock picks or leave them as they are? I'm just wondering and scratching my head. I'm not interested in becoming rich or super rich. Lol.
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Although I agree with with marriage now & ceremony later, I've noticed that legally when it comes to bank accounts that couples cannot touch each other's accounts unless they both are listed on those accounts & signed onto them as owners, married or not. If one spouse passes away & the living spouse is unlisted as account owner, then banks still won't allow access. I do also agree with Dave's financial method & wish this couple all the best in their future..great points Dave.
I want to kick off by saying this guy is a genius and his material has drastically helped me manage my finances! The only thing I struggle with in your videos is the vehicle thing. Bump that number up from $1,000 or $2,000. You buy a car for 2k, you're buying a problem. Thoughts?
My son-in-law got a 2006 GMC Envoy at the junkyard for $800. It was fully loaded, in great shape inside and out, but a guy had sold it as salvage to the junkyard because it had transmission issues (wouldn't go into 3rd or 4th gear). He changed the transmission for $1,200, and now my daughter has a $2,000 car with more features (leather interior, heated seats, sunroof, etc.) than my $10,000 car. Finding a $2,000 car is like any of these steps -- they aren't easy, but they CAN be done.

A 1,000 dollar car will have the buyer in and out of the shop with unexpected payments of $200 here; $450 there $700 everywhere - eating up that rainy day fund. God forbid the break down happens before or on the way to work more than once. An employer may likely fire you.
Now, I do not work for Nissan - but I drive one. I did my research. A Nissan Versa is the most inexpensive/reliable new car on the market.
Together, my partner and I make just about $100,000 yearly.
I bought a new Nissan Versa for 14,500 (out the door) in 2013. The car payment was $260 monthly. No problems; no repairs. Just solid and reliable transportation. Now, the Versa has no modern day thrills. But after 5 years it is still a solid car and runs just like the day we bought it - averaging 37 miles per gallon.

We eloped. It was awesome and affordable. We figure on our 10th anniversary we would have a ceremony. By then we should be able to pay off all of our debt.
Wed love to be debt free. I'm 44 and my husband is 43 and yet we're pretty deep in debt. Our scores are barely in the 600s and we have no retirement savings. Seems like we can't save because when we get a few hundred in savings something comes up where we have to take it.... usually a bill.
I'm sitting in South Africa and found this channel by chance , just after watching 4 episodes I can see where to go and how to start things up here
Great advice. My debt isn't as high as this caller, but the advice will still help me in my situation. Thank you! Subscribed!
welp time to buy a kindle fire or maybe a roku LOL and then use a computer monitor instead of a tv and noodles everynight! Debt is no joke there is so much more to life than paying back every week of your life
When Ramsey tells the guy to sell the car that he owes $27K on and the guy is like, I'm upside down, Ramsey is all, "So what, sell the car for $25K now you're only $2K in debt instead of $27K." I was like oh yea, that makes sense. Light bulbs turning on all over the place over here. Thanks Dave!
How does he pay the $2K? How does he get to work? How does he shop for groceries, or take the baby to the doctor?
He should get another source of income and pay the car down faster until he can sell it and buy a cheaper Corolla or Civic in good shape. Meanwhile, they should cut expenses...and then pay down high-interest debt once the car situation is handled.
Bills are still going to happen. I have 0 debt. No credit card debt, no carnote, no student loans, no mortgage. I still have bills...utilities, food, clothing, insurance, fuel, maintenance, etc. Key is building up multiple streams of income while cutting expenses, saving an emergency fund of 6-12 months of expenses, and learning how to invest.
I love this guy. A world of knowledge on RUclips. Thank you sir
This man is CORRECT!
I keep this one handy, for when I need a reminder before going out to eat 🤣

4:20 I would sell everything in sight😂
Omg I thought I was doing bad, I have to get my act together so I don't end up worse. These videos helped lots.
Thank you Mr. Ramsey! I needed this today!
I had a $396 debt. I'm 23 and I'm now getting a job at Walmart. I opened up a blog and doing everything I can to make money now. I have no kids and my gf has almost $20k invested. I think we are doing good tbh lol
Also I have $700 invested, so on the road to success.
I hope he followed his advice. He should be or almost out of debt now
it amazes me how people call for advice on how to get out of debt and living a lavish life
Why does Dave always recommend selling your car and buying a "hoopty". If you buy a used car you'll probably have to spend more money trying to fix everything that is certainly going to go wrong with it. I would disregard that bit of advice. Other than that i think Dave's advice is awesome.
Well said. I agree
Yeah no kidding. There is also a reason why dealers had 1 yr user car for sale. I would always buy new
Buy an old Toyota camry or corolla so if it breaks itll be very cheap to do so, definitely less than a large car payment every month.
Im 17 and just trying to figure out how to prevent getting into the debt so many people seem to get overwhelmed by.
CandidlyOpinionated *I've been depressed and almost lost my car due to my credit card debts and loans until I connected with ruma_telecom1 on !nstagram, On whatsapp +1 781-429-7492, he helped fund my account and no upfront fee, I'm so glad*
So honestly right and real

On the upside down car loan, do the math on what the car is now worth vs the monthly payment times the length of the loan, you might discover that by keeping the car, you would pay a great deal more between today and the end of the loan than it is worth today, and that is crazy!!!!
He can sell the car for 18000, let the dealer sell it for him. Get a part time job and pay off the $6000, get drastic, I did it, dug my self out of a hole, and there is enough to live comfortable. He can do it, just need the will power.
ROMAIN WHITE But they only have one car. If he sells that car and still owes 6,000, how would he be able to get the funds for another vehicle? If they had 2 cars, definitely a good idea.
People don't realize that new cars cost less to operate. Its cash flow not debt people. I use debt all the time. OK how much per month will he put into two $1000 junkers monthly avg. $400 easy over 3 years IF IF IF the junkers last that long PLUS the bridge loan payment PLUS the additional insurance policy. Keep you newer cars people. Give me a break Dave
He's probably better off keeping the car and getting a 2nd job to double or triple payments until he's not upside-down on it. If it's still reliable, he could drive Uber or Uber Eats. Pay off the credit cards first. The interest rate on some of those is often 25% or more. Car loans are typically under 10%. Once the $27K car is sellable, he could get rid of it and shop for a used Corolla or Civic in decent shape for cheaper. Bottom line...this couple needs to increase their income AND cut their expenses.
Who scrolls through their EveryDollar Budget while listening to Dave?
