But then since being at least 1 year old he would have to suffer through court procedures for custody. Then be shared with mum and dad separately for many years. That's very bad for mental health. If we also consider the fact fanning doesn't have the money to go through long court proceedings unlike the father then it's harder on her. Plus, in the off chance full custody is given to a single parent, the psychological damage is even greater especially if he suddenly gets taken from his mum. Not to mention that she will have to keep in contact with someone she obviously wants to avoid which is also bad for both of their healths. Anyways, there's really no point in arguing abt this topic mainly because it's a drama and this is a common trope in Chinese dramas.

Its so messed up! I would have loved to see her getting pregnant, the husband and so with the mom and all those aunts being all excited. That would have been hilarious.
I agree. To me that’s cruel and unforgivable. She deprived him of the first five years of his son’s life. There’s no excuse for that. It’s not like he couldn’t have been a father and husband while studying. People do it all the time. It’s just twisted that she left like that. My daughter and her husband are studying, working and raising a baby. That’s what family is for.
