Honestly if it ever comes to Engine swaps in my life, I've always wanted to do it to a van because it's so much practical having a V8 drift van than a V8 Miata. You are doing all the work, might as well. On the other hand I was enthusiastic when I found Toyota made a manual, RWD, 3.5l V6 HiAce...and it's not coming to Europe. That was the dream right there, just weld the diff and get some stiffer suspension. It's why I appreciate when I see people who've done similiar swaps to Berlingo, Kangaroo, and other panel vans. I hope he improves that Transit a bit and sort stuff like the gearbox crunch and the suspension
