Hi! Not sure if you left yet, but I heard you mention that MTR has hiker buckets with leftover food but I’m pretty sure they will not be having them out this year due to covid. So just an FYI. Safe travels! We will be going out on JMT NOBO Saturday!!
We have already returned from my trip but thank you for the info. During our trip we never stepped foot at MTR so we dont have a first hand experience. We wish you the best of luck on your trip and we hope you enjoy the experience. The trail can be unforgiving but having as much fun as possible makes every moment worth it.
