  • This 2020 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG has always been in good shape and well taken care of, but it still needed something a little extra to really make it pop. After a thorough wash and decon, the paint and glass were polished to remove some minor water spots, and add some extra depth and gloss. Once the polishing was complete, Ceramic Pro's ceramic coating was applied to all exterior surfaces.
Cleaning these wheels has always a hassle because there's limited clearance between the brake caliper and the wheel as well as the backing plate. On top of that, brake dust just sticks to the matte finish worse than a regular gloss finish. With the wheels removed, we can see everything that had set into the paint over the years that wasn't removed with a wheel woolie. After a few passes around the inside of the barrel with a wash mitt and some aggressive scrubbing, I wiped them down with some isopropyl alcohol mixed 50/50 with water to finish the prep before ceramic coating them. Having them coated will make cleaning these wheels feel like less of a chore in the future.
The interior is pretty flawless as it is. The front mats needed some shampooing and an extractor to suck out what little dirt was resting at the bottom of the fibers, but other than that, just a vacuum is all that was needed. In order to protect these seats and arm rests and keep them looking their best for years to come, I applied Ceramic Pro's 9H (titanium dioxide).
Cleaning this car is going to be a breeze from now on.

Ryan of Hamptons Touch is a master at his craft. He saved (resurrected) the paint on 2 of my cars.

@@HamptonsTouch absolutely! Quick question, I think I saw in some previous videos you used a clay mitt? If so, does that ever leave any more marring compared to traditional clay? Just in your experience.
