Worth mentioning (in case I missed it in the video), the dryer in this set is a heat pump - yes they take a little longer, but it doesn't matter if it's a 27" or 24", a heat pump dryer is absolutely always worth looking into because of how insanely ludicrous the concept of a conventional vented electric dryer is - Take five or six space heaters, put them outside, and turn them on for an hour or two every other day. That's what a conventional dryer is doing. Except it's even worse... since the dryer is pumping about 900 cubic feet per minute of your inside, heated or cooled air, outside... also put a box fan in your window while you have the space heaters running in the back yard. Heat pumps make SO much sense - condense the water out, put it down the drain, use the same air over again... it shouldn't even be legal to buy or sell conventional dryers lmao.

Just wanted to add that I recently got a chance to peek inside the LG WM3555 which is the "combo" compact (24") washer that looks similar to the WM1455 but also dries clothing as well. I was a little disappointed to see that while the machine is also ventless like this one, the dryer is (probably due to extreme space limitations) *NOT* a heat pump like the dryer that goes with the WM1455. Instead, it uses an arrangement of 120V resistive heating elements and a heat exchanger that seems to trickle cold water through it to condense moisture out of the air before re-heating it... So the air is a closed loop like a heat pump dryer, but the heat used to evaporate water from the clothes is not recovered, it is absorbed into the cold water trickling through the condenser heat exchanger and sent down the drain, warming up your drain pipes and fading into the eventual heat-death of the universe. 😢

    That’s a nice new washer 👍
I recommend this machine has a diagnostic mode, before in use for the first time. So of course, hold on to spin and soil, and hit power button. If not, maybe it might be elsewhere.

I got the same machine. I didnt read the instructions. During spin it were jumping so hard, it looked like it was about to get destroyed at ANY SECOND.. I realized what I have done and removed the transit bolts before it was too late!

What happened to the WM3900HWA washer did you have? Did you sell or replace it? I have not seen it in a very long time…

Don’t you have a wm6700 now? I think I saw you on TikTok when you showed all your machines. I knew they looked familiar from your RUclips. Lol. If you do, when are you planning to film it?

Do you have a 6700 set and the matching dryer for this machine too? I saw a review for the 6700 on LGs website and it showed this set and the 6700 set and it looked like your room.

Nice video! Was hoping the first wash would actually have clothes, but no matter. lol. This is the 24" LG washer? How's it working out? We were thinking of replacing our GE laundry center with this and a small dryer on top, but does the washer handle a decent laundry load? (We have king-sized sheets/blankets, but no thick comforters or anything.) Thanks!

Hello! I recently got the dryer so I will tell you about both. The washer takes a long time to wash, but it will handle an average load. I don't know how it would do with something like a comforter though. The dryer takes even longer to dry than the washer does to wash (don't expect a cycle under 2 hours) and the clothes usually aren't totally dry. If you're ok with long cycle times and running the dryer twice occasionally, they're a great set! very gentle and the dryer drys at a low temp so it's great for delicate fabrics. They have tons of features that I love. I would say if you can get a normal 27" washer and dryer, opt for that but if you need a 24" these are an alright option
