Man I wish I could go fishing with this guy. I lost my dad at 8 years old and mom at 5, this guy seems like someone you would want to be your dad, a laid back, good hearted man.

I fished santee the nine days before y’all started practicing. Only really got anything going two of the nine days and both times it was gone the next day lol it’s my favorite place to fish but she can sure be tough sometimes
Good video as always.. What is the boat landing that you launched from at Santee? I’m looking to go in next couple weeks and looking for a good place to put in at. I’ll be coming from NC down i95. It’s a good little drive for me just don’t wanna go so far and bomb the trip. Thanks for anyone’s help
Hey Scott, next time you’re in Santee I got a place you oughta fish in the lower lake I caught 2 7s in and had a handful come off. I’ll hit you on instagram can’t be blowing the spot up, but man the next time you go you’ll have a 30-35 pound bag from this one spot. I would have had my boater not gotten mad I was catching all the fish behind him and left! hahahaha

Anyway way back when I was fishing local events. I had one of the early Hummingbird fish finders... it was round... just a flasher lol.. and I remember catching grief about having electronics and fancy duedads lol... just learn to fish... read the water lol... and I was saving up for a device. You hung it overboard and let it down. It would tell you what color to use. Cooler than shirt pockets 😎 👌... it worked lol.. nothing like the stuff you all have... just learn to fish... read the water lol.. be quiet.. spit on your lure... power bait and fish formula..

Why catch all your decent fish in practice? I’d be doing the No hook method and saving for tourney. IMO
