In 2016 We took my mom to The Creation Museum, just 15 mins from our home, so she could zip line for her 72nd birthday. She did it. You could not pay me enough!!!

I've seen other videos of Anakeesta but this is the first one seeing go from daytime to night time.Thanks for the video,my wife +I are planning on going in about 2 weeks.We knew that it had been there for a few years but this will be our first time going there,been to Gatlinburg many times over the years.You can still see signs of the devastating fire there a few years ago.Looking forward to seeing it both daytime and nighttime and of course buying some more Moonshine.

Loved our first trip to Anakeesta! What a fun adventure and beautiful place! And I survived the chair lift. :-)
My wife and older daughter kept their eyes closed the whole ride up. Lol They were a little bit better the ride down.
@@davidfontaine8619 Funny, David. I didn’t close my eyes, but going back down in the dark was more enjoyable for me too. I guess I couldn’t see the details as much of how high we really were. 🤪
I haven't been back up thier since it opened looks like they have expanded alot aweso e camera angles going up nice tour journey

Tennessee is truly God's country.
Truth!
North Carolina's not bad either.We've got The Beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and Beautiful Beaches that are not as crowded as Myrtle Beach and alot better to walk on and enjoy the views of the Ocean.

Another wonderful video! My family and I were just there last week. The views are breathtaking, especially from the tower. On a funny note, there was so many people in line for the Chondolas for the ride back down but we walked straight to the chair with no wait. My little one loved it but my wife and older daughter are afraid of heights and were rather weary on the chairlift.
Thank you David! Everyone should visit Anakeesta and see the mountains. If you are afraid of heights you could always take the truck ride up the mountain but we wanted the full experience.
Yes despite her fear, my wife was of the same mindset of having the full experience. I told her we'd take the truck if she wanted. I'd never pressure them into doing something they truly didn't want to. But after riding the Sky Wheel in Pigeon Forge, she wanted to brave the chairlift as best she could.

Ok. Another comment. Is the tree top walk repaired where the tree fell on it? That was a really great video btw. Cant wait to get to Anakeesta in December. Should be nice and chilly up there. Hope our butts don't freeze to the chair lift.
Hey Doug! Yes, the tree top walk has been repaired. Thank you for watching and commenting we appreciate it. It is cold on the chair lift in the winter but you guys will love it. Stick some hand warmers in your pockets and shoes.
We did this in July SO hot but the views made it worthwhile

It was so good Julie! Anakeesta is a Cherokee word referring to high ground, literally meaning “the place of the balsams.” ... We chose the name Anakeesta to capture the authentic Smokies heritage that our guests will experience among the treetops at the summit of Anakeesta Mountain.
Sorry if I am asking too many questions but is it cold there since you went 2 weeks ago and the cold is around the corner and bra loved ur vid keep up the good job! 👍
It can get very cold and even close due to weather. It's always good to check the website before going. Thank you for watching so much!

Are you referring to the Skybridge? If so it is open as far as we know.
Oh ok that’s good cause our main point was to go to the sky bridge but I was afraid it would be closed due to covid
