  • Join me and my mom on an epic trip to Iceland as we explore the South Coast in January. We had a lot jam-packed into three days. The natural beauty of the country blew me away, and I wasn’t really all that affected by the very short periods of sunlight. I was so inspired by the sweeping landscapes and the candy colored skies. Unfortunately, no northern lights sighting on this leg, but I still can’t believe how much we saw and I definitely want to go back to see more of the beautiful country. Thank you for watching and keep an eye out for the next leg of the trip: a cruise through southern Norway!

Icelandic Horses!!!! Plus the selfie of you and mom were my favorite part. So glad you both got to experience this together. I'm working really hard towards being able to afford a trip with my mother. I don't know that Iceland is right for her, seems like a lot of slightly treacherous walking for her taste, BUT! This was super inspiring :)

The Icelandic horses were on another level. I’m legit obsessed with them. Aw thank you, it really was a fantastic adventure to take with her. It’s definitely important as an adult to invest in time with our elder loved ones. I love that you’re working towards that! Agreed! I spent about 85% of my trip worried about accessibility (it snows so much it’s barely worth it to plow in some of the more remote landmarks) and this lady on the ice. I held on to her every step of the way 😂. It’s a stunning country so I would say a trip there in spring, summer, or fall would be fabulous without worrying about ice. It’s definitely on my list to visit again during that time. Thank you for watching, Sam! 💜✨
