Blue tak is made by a company called Bostik that is French, not Australian. Also it is made of chalk powder, a type of synthetic rubber and oil and has no radioactive properties. An interesting fact is that it isn't even blue originally, it's white but the company chose to dye it blue so that kids wouldn't think it was gum and eat it, though it is non-toxic like Elmer's glue so eating it wouldn't kill you.
Thanks for your story Stu! We’ll add this to the video at a later date. Many students have already expressed their gratitude for this blutac video and we’re happy to be educating kids over the globe.
wow how bizarre, I thought Hobart was south of Canberra not north, and that Canberra was in the act not the N.T. There for having Nothing to do with the huge rock that is in the middle of Aboriginal Land Titles in the Northern Territory's Out back. Maybe do some research next time and not show Australia's Desert when it has nothing to do with Blu Tac or how it is made.
