I've seen that "I wish you lived next door" personalized mug from three different RUclipsrs this week. I hope the original seller is running ads since there are bound to be many sellers putting out similar designs soon.

Do you have to make the product custom for the customer or does printify make kt custom
Yes, you would need to add the personalization yourself then add the design change to your product in Printify. There are softwares that can do the personalization for you.

Do you think paying for mockups are worth it for mugs? I've tried using mockups and just the regular printify white background and surprisingly the one w/o mockups has sold the most...what's your opinion on mockups for mugs?

Hello! When I have a product created on printify, how do I publish it on etsy? It isn't sync? I mean, I need to add all images, descriptions etc., its not automatically copied to etsy? Please explain, I want to sell on etsy through my site on wordpress, I am a seo specialist, so it will be easier for my to boost my site in my country, but its hard to launch this whole thing.
I mean I link my store via plugin 'etsy shop' which transfers to my etsy store, I don't use woocommerce.
Once you integrate Printify with your Etsy account, everything will be synced over. You would create a description that can be a template for all of your listings. You will need to create new mockups with the new design. I am not sure how this can be done on Wordpress, but I am thinking you would link the listing URL to your shop page on Wordpress. I hope this helps.
You think it’s still profitable to sell on Etsy when it comes to price competition. Selling a mug for $12 doesn’t give much of a profit after fees and shipping cost?
Yes. A shop right now has over 20k total sales and they are listing an 11oz mug for $12.99+$8.99 shipping. Therfore the total cost to this product is $21.98 which allows them to make around $8 profit per product and a gain a 31% profit margins after Etsy fees. They key is to make decision based upon data. If there are shops selling mugs and making a profit, you can as well. This shop I mentioed only been around for 15 months, and the seller just started listing products heavily on their shop 7 months ago. I know the shop owner. You can do this. Make decision based on data and you will get there.
