Interesting!!! So currently Toei and Tokyo Metro no longer use the Chopper system, only VVVF (IGBT and SiC). We still use the Chopper system on 3 line Paris metro ("Kesar" system), and resistance control on the oldest trains (1/3 of the entire Paris metro fleet, i.e. 6 lines). The rest is on Alstom GTO VVVF (3 lines) and Alstom OniX IGBT VVVF (5 lines). Resistance control will be gone in 2026-2027 and Chopper in 2028. For Lyon, Marseille, they use a 4-quadrant chopper or resistance control (metro on tires). For Rennes and Toulouse, they use VAL technology (chopper for older trains, IGBT for younger trains). funny!!! for the 03 series (gen 5) with 4Q chopper, we have two trains with the same technology and the same assembly... The "Alteo" Mi2N series (more bass because the frequency of the choppers is lower) and the Z20500 Series with more stages, more different frequencies and slower. This is called "Hacheurs GTO" (4Q chopper with GTO components for the thyristors, not VVVF)
@@ecodaichiWhen 05-122, 123, and 124 get refurbished, do you think they'll have the exact same Mitsubisbi IGBT PMSM system as 119-121 or will they get slightly different systems (SiC, SynRM, Hitachi, etc.)?
I know that in the 02 series, there is one trainset (02-202) fitted with motors that sound like 2000 series motors. Does that train still have the 2000 series motors?
And we've got received the train with AVF-Chopper, 4Q-Chopper, GTO-Chopper & Hita-Mitsu VVVF-IGBT 2 or 3 Level for 6000 series, 7000 series & 05 series, guess what country is it? 😌
@@ecodaichi no, i was gonna say that a half population of TM train (that almost all of them were non on the video) were exported to Indonesia for commuter line service...
PMSN?PMSM
PMSM+IGBT

A little fact about this TM train in 13:56, this train were exported to Indonesia to being use for commuter line service by KAI...

When all of the trains under the 5:27 category retire, can someone reply to this comment to update?
3:36 Does Tokyo Metro plan to refurbish the rest of those with the Mitsubishi IGBT PMSM or did they terminate the refurbishment program?
I think they will continue to refurbish on 05 series.
@@ecodaichi what are the trainset numbers that are still unrefurbished in this category as of August 2022?

Kajigaya station on the Tokyu-Line.
