I’m a highlander main. His stance is great but don’t be afraid to use his regular attacks more, and let it fly a little more, you had a few attacks you would’ve landed if you hadn’t feinted so often. He’s like Zhanhu and Goki and Medjay in that his attack animations can catch people out who try to parry and aren’t used to them. Also you can soft feint the kick into a grab, the longer animation catches up a lot of dodgers. Also, his dodge attacks have a minor mix up with how they fly and what directions they come out with, play around with those. You can catch people by acting like you’re doing a dodge forward heavy and just not following up after the animation or feinting into something else.
Hey Misty, why do you go with a light attack after the heavy parry? I usually go with fast flow into kick into heavy horizontal attack and I believe its legit, Im new to the game and Im learning highlander, I know its alot easier to trip people up with unblockables in low mmr and not get punished nearly as often, I just wanted to know the strat behind it. Thanks man, love the content. I wish you played jormundgandr and highlander more as those two are my favorite characters by far and I always enjoy learning from watching you play.
Went against a HL a couple days ago. Fastest dodging I ever seen. I couldn't hit him, he was able to dodge my zone as Kensei. I asked him how he is dodgeing so fast, he said his dodge input is LB. They weren't human movements.
I feel like if you gb throw an opponent even with stam. Hl should throw m to the ground. Him having that great of a power and the way he already throw him with the throw to the ground as a move. Its not even unrealistic

İ saw this fin scripter misty in a event without reflex guard battle. He can’t block or parry anything. But with reflex guard he parried %100 all lights without 1 miss . He’s fkn scripter
