So focused on cutting a hole, didn’t even vent the skylight. Take in the whole picture brother!
Came close to stepping through it though...
The fact the he's up there alone concerns me as well. It would've been great place to shove a nozzle down into with a wide fog and make a few sweeps around. Not trying to be critical here, just trying to help. A different set of eyes and opinions could save a life.
Had to vent the attic space. The skylight would vent the living space only.
@@leightongalleries6057 Exactly
Did not sound the roof very bad need more training on that
Live right down the street. Thank you
How about straightening out the supply line, nice big kink in it, also must be a super hydrant with 3 LDH coming off of it ! Saw 2 kinked supply lines.
Can I ask why the guy goes on the roof to cut a vent when the fire has already vented out of the roof and he is just putting himself at greater risk.
Andy Oxley The part of the roof he was venting was not vented yet. More vent holes let’s more smoke out which makes conditions better inside.
@@megagames3605 But not worth risking the guy on the roof if the building is already lost. The guys inside doing the firefighting are gas cooling and diluting all the flammable gases so not really a need to risk a guy falling through the roof and dying.
Awesome footage, that must have had some jump on the first due Companies. Thanks for sharing it with us, I always enjoy your posts
Thanks
What’s wrong with water pressure?
The first hydrant that was "hit" by the first in engine ended up being completely dry for quite a few minutes even though it was legitimately directly infront of the main water tower.
That looked like it was a very nice house.
Why so many helpless old men wandering around in these vids? Meds not right?
Other than a little more pressure on the transaction attack line I'd say overall good job on a fire that definitely had a jump on the first due companies
This fire had a huge jump on the dispatch. Two people passing by called it in and by that point it was well off. There was a massive smoke header visible from my neighborhood 2 miles away before the call was even finished being dispatched.
Nice footage
Thanks!

Why they have breathing air at the ladder ?
We do not have that in Germany.
Probably a backup if their SCBA runs low while in the bucket. I bet it's plumbed all the way to the basket.
@@VaporheadATC Yes, they use the truck air instead of their own in case they have to run inside.
You have some very nice equipment good to see people are willing to pay taxes for good equipment.
Too bad Pa. doesn't require any training to ride it...
