This is the cleanest renovation/restoration I have ever seen and I so appreciate it. So many trades leave all kinds of rubbish behind studwork, drywall, inside vents etc. it drives me nuts the stuff we have found over the years when doing home repairs. I do love the stuff you hid though for future renovators.
Billy, since the convent is so full of mystery, have you ever thought of putting in your own secret room. That would be so cool. A secret bookcase or something on those lines. You're so talented. I'm sure if you did, it would be great.

Personally, I believe it its worth it to work with the best equipment you can afford; it can shift the work from being repetitive and tedious to pure pleasure. have you seen in Scotland where they spray on the wall plaster like with a paint sprayer, then smooth once with a wide flat blade? Seems to work well and is so flat. In the US we tape and putty and sand, then paint.
You need a cart like they have at Lowe’s with pipes that looks made for transporting wallboard, doors, scaffolding or wood! Imagine the trips it would save!
