Definitely not a genuine 450, the 450 was launched in 1997 and this is an early preface lift car so it’s had the 4.6 engine added at a later date

Plus the reg comes back as a 430. So if someone sold it to you as a 450 then they’ve been having you on

Ordered April 1993 for Team Central TVR of Birmingham, one red, one silver, the cars were specified with 4.5 litre engines specially built by Dom at TVR Power in Coventry.
This engine started life as a 3.9, being fitted with TVR Power 80mm crankshaft, Cosworth pocketed pistons and high lift camshaft borrowed from the Tuscan Challenge race engines, as well as modified cylinder heads. The engine in this vehicle was subject to a rebuild at 57000 miles carried out by TVR Power. We have all the receipts for this work, which detail that a new TVR885 camshaft and 5.0 piston rings were installed as well as main bearing shells, valves' new clutch, etc.
The whereabouts of the red vehicle supplied as a pair to Team Central is unknown
