Thanks for sharing this! It's a great system. I was wondering if there was a way to take this one step further and to automatically create recurring tasks for a set period of time without having to complete the task before the new one gets created. Much like how you set up recurring meetings in a calendar. So that I can plan ahead to see what's coming up. E.g. Every Friday for the next 3 months I want to have a task in my calendar to create a report.

Hi Steven - yes you can. I made a video that shows how to set up daily recurring tasks in the way you're describing: ruclips.net/video/bvfskBKe3nY/видео.htmlsi=luBrY8moyw6QzXTT If you adapt this to your system and need some help switching the time period, feel free to post a question in the community forum here and I'll help you out: community.3rings.co/

Thanks for this great video! A question though... when I want to repeat a task on Saturday or Sunday, it automatically moves it forward to Monday. How do I fix that?

Hi, awesome video man. Has helped a lot with my day to day. Where can I find the formula for Next Due Date to populate?

Glad you liked it @KrysnNatSanhudo ! When you make a copy of the template, you can edit the "Next Due" field to see the formula

Great system, but Isn’t the automation too simple? If the task doesn’t recur, the automation will still create a new task as it’s just looking for a check box before creating a new task, not checking if it’s a recurring task…

That would be a great addition! To do that, you could create a conditional group within the automation that runs only when "Next Due Date" is NOT empty. Then drag and drop the "Create Record" action into that conditional group. I've updated the template to include this.
