Fantastic exercises. Thank you so much. Long story short: went through severe pain, bad continence, all urine and blood tests checked out, ultrasound good. Did kegel exercises, electrical stimulation, but it's wrong thing for tight pelvic muscles, as it wasn't weak pelvis. These yoga exercises, reverse kegels, this is what's required. Healing now. Peace and love.
Excellent series of stretches I will incorporate into my routine. Excellent instructions on how to do them and such a calming and relaxing voice. Thank you Melissa
The research is not conclusive on the effectiveness for patients with CPPS especially because there are many reasons why CPPS can occur. It is always best to treat the root cause.
Hi, I have pain in my penis during ejaculation, after urination and throughout the day for 6 months now. The pain seems more after sex . The urologist found no sign of infection, no prostatitis and all reports are negative including cystoscopy. Kindly help
Now that you have ruled out infection and the like, can you get a visit with a pelvic physical therapist? Sex and urination cause the pelvic floor muscles to contract. Since these activities increase your pain, it makes sense to see a therapist who specializes in pelvic muscles.
I'm 18, and i feel a pain throughout my penis during urinating and after urinating too. the pain is not only on the tip but throughout the penis . how can i treat it at my home?
It appears based on where you are describing pain there may also be referred pain from both the nerve and myofascial structures. We recommend seeing a pelvic floor PT in person to better understand the various factors causing your specific symptoms. This may change what you are to do at home or the progression of your home program. For example, if the pudendal nerve is partially involved, you would want to be cautious of further overstretching.
Living with this condition has me feeling borderline suicidal and hopeless. I don't even know if there is a proper physical therapist in my area that can help me with this since it seems they largely only work with women. Hope this helps! Starting to feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel...
We understand that these conditions can be challenging to find the right providers and right treatment. @@rajitadevi9687 Because hard flaccid is still poorly understood, it is hard to say if one particular treatment may be helpful. If it appears that symptoms are consistent with a nerve component, then a nerve block may be beneficial in that specific case as part of an overall treatment plan.
@@rajitadevi9687 1. Penile transplant is not used for hard flaccid as hard flaccid is a condition in which likely multiple factors are causing referred pain/symptoms vs. damage to the penis itself. 2. Hard flaccid is still poorly understood, it is a syndrome involving multiple etiologies. 3. The aim of penile transplant is to return the organ in its entirety in cases of severe mutilation and involves reconnection of nerves, blood vessels, and urethra. 4. Penile transplant replaces the penis with a donor whereas implant is using an artificial device.
