Nice video. I graduated from UNC many years ago (native of Oxford, NC), and I lived in Chapel Hill/Carrboro for all of my young adult life until moving to Ohio for a decade. I now live in Chicago. My years in Chapel Hill are still the best and most influential years of my life. The big plan is to come back home and retire in Chapel Hill or Carrboro years from now.
@@raleigh-durhamnchow is the Public Transportation for those that don’t drive?.. I saw some buses on Franklin street but what about on other blocks?. Is it still free until June of 2024 like Raleigh & Durham are now?
It does seem to go to several apartment complexes and a handful of larger neighborhoods too! I don't believe its free at this time. You can learn more about the stops here www.townofchapelhill.org/government/departments-services/transit/routes-schedules/common-destinations@@chrisconnors9449
Nice video and happy couple. Learned a lot about Chapel Hill, we are considering moving to Chapel Hill from China, but I know little about this city. this video helps me a lot.
Thank you so much Steven! We are glad it was helpful- be sure to check out our Chapel Hill neighborhoods video, too! If you ever have questions, feel free to reach out!
It’s another old money town that caters to drunken college students and alumni. No big deal. UNC owns that town. If you’re not a student, you’ll have a hard time living there. Carrboro is cheaper (was), but the jobs aren’t high paying or plenty if you’re not affiliated with the school. Look at all of the homeless people up and down Franklin street. CH is overpriced and racist in many ways.
You guys are such a nice couple. You both spread positive energy around. God bless you. Stay happy together and keep doing these video’s.
Thank you! This is such a sweet comment. 🥰 We have no plans to stop posting so stick with us and subscribe to get alerted of the weekly video posts!
Great video. Considering moving to NC from Sweden in near future. Chapel Hill is definetly on our list!
Thank you so much for watching!!
Thank you, for this great introduction. It is exactly what I want, and I am a senior.
We are so glad this was helpful for you! Feel free to call us or text us anytime for more information about the area.
Our family will go there this August. I'm really glad to find out your channel. 😊

That's awesome that you graduated from UNC! I give it a hard time but it's an excellent school. We hope you can come back and retire in the area!
@@raleigh-durhamnc So do I. I miss home even after all these years.

Definitely a beautiful school! What do you love about it?

Hehe! Lets go Duke!
Nice video, please tell us about retirement communities in Chapel hill, 1200 sq ft max., recently built.
Thank you!
Thanks, very useful. Can you tell me how to check if the neighborhood where we find the house is safe?
ADT has a helpful crime map! www.adt.com/crime
Are there apartment rentals for one person?
I’m sure there are! It honestly seems like apartments are everywhere here!
Chapel Hill is adamantly a town, not a city
Thank you for watching!
How's the weather?
Thanks for watching! We love the weather. You get four seasons and a short winter!
@@Psalms121KJV It gets very humid here! Not Florida levels but it's certainly humid!
We love Chapel Hill! We know folks who live in Chapel Hill but teach at Duke. Duke is definitely better lol. #teamCindi ☺️
Obviously, I am now #teamHolly ! ;)

The high crime town I am in now
