Hello. Definitely vianočka. And I have one tip for you: vianočka is also very good with butter and honey, but I like it the most when it's toasted with butter😋 dobrú chuť!
@@ChasingKimberly no no, you are pronouncing it perfectly, it's just the way you are using it :D Slovaks usually use the word "dobre" as an agreement to something like "okay". When you want to say that something is good, you use the phrase "je to dobré". :) it was just cute and funny :D
We Slovaks are not a heavy breakfast eaters. I know in many cultures, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Not the case in Slovakia. In Slovakia, lunches are the most important and ideally consist of at least 3 coarses. We usually eat so called "continental breakfast". Which usually consists of either fresh or toasted bread or other forms of pastry, with all sorts of spreads on them, fruit jams, cold meats etc. Or we just eat cereal, wiener sausages with mustard dip or simple egg dishes, yoghurt. Wiener sausages are the breakfast food here, I've barely ever seen anyone eating them on different ocassions. Honestly, I think our breakfasts are boring. A lot of people do not even eat breakfast at all - they'll have a cup of coffee and head to work or school. How do Slovaks keep from being hunrgy then? Almost everybody's having a brunch - at school or at work (if they can). We call it desiata ("the tenth" - because we're supposed to eat it aroun 10 o'clock AM) and this is yet another small meal of the day. The small breakfast + small brunch = 1 english breakfast 😂 I always kept noticing as a kid watching the American movies that the kids would carry their lunch boxes from home to school. We don't do that over here. In fact, we carry brunch boxes to school. Again, it's some kind of sandwich or baguette + some kind of fruit (for example grapes) and yoghurt and some kind of sweet snack bar, to eat during the "big break" at 10 AM. Lunches are always eaten at the canteen (if available) or people order so called "daily lunch specials" delivery food to their offices (consisting of soup + main dish + sometimes dessert), because we believe if our lunch is not warm (properly cooked or baked), it's not healthy and we should have a proper, cooked lunch in the middle of the day. When I spent time in England, I couldn't get used to their meal regime, as I was provided breakfast + lunch + dinner by the local industry. The breakfast was way too heavy for me, I wasn't able to eat all of it by myself. I ended up feeding the squirrels whatever I could. I guess in the morning, my stomach is shrunken from the sleep - 8 hours of not eating anything, and it needed it's time to stretch out and sort of wake up - gradually, not by shocking it by rain of bacon, rivers of canned beans, fries and two-three big buns and fatty sauces and dips. Then, as I was hungry around the lunch time, and my stomach was ready to get full of good warm filling and nutritious, properly cooked food, what I recieved was not what I was used to - there was no soup as a starter, the food was cold (sometimes the lunch was just a sandwich and salad), the portion was too smalll and there was only one dish-one course. I was hungry all the time during the afternoon because my body hadn't recieved whatever it expected to in the middle of the day back from home and to be honest, I got quite nervous or anxious after 3 days or so. Then, we got dinner, which was okay, we got some nice cooked meat and proper side dish but I would still like to eat a bit more. I felt like the breakfast was unnecessarily too overwhelming and the rest of the meals of the day were just less filling than the breakfast, which is absolutely not what I was used to from my culture. I felt like at the beginning of the day I recieved more than I was able to process right after waking up, but then I was hungry for the whole rest of the day. I guess I got culture shocked just because of such a detail called breakfast 😂 and some non-European people think all the European cultures are the same ..... I guess English people are super hungry in the morning when they arrive to Slovakia and get fed by the local standards, and then have digestion problems in the evening from all the food they've eaten during the day. This is something nobody will tell you on any forums before travelling. Wow I did not indend to make this comment so long. Anyways thanks for reading if you did
Lard (pork fat) is not unhealthy (if you don't eat too much of it). Lard is beneficial for your heart. Fats are essential nutrients and lard is definitely better source of fat than margarine.

I had a Filipina girlfriend before and she did not like bread and the Slovak cuisine in general. When she did not have rice for every meal, she was not that much satisfied. For some reason she was afraid of trying new things. Sometimes I baked a strudel with poppy seeds or walnuts for her, and she liked it as you do.
One of my favourite breakfast: Take hrianka (without cesnak), put some horčica and spring onion on it and on top goes volské oko :) (LOL it's a little bit weird to mix english and slovak in one sentence, but funny)
My favourite is vianočka with kakao without jam. I really love it, but i often have flakes with fruits. Yours videos are best 💕 and I have one question: What is your favorite word? ( i´m not sure you´ve said it before)
I really like praženica, but i doing it a little different :-) (with cheese, ketchup, ham - ok, its maybe not praženica anymore :-D ), but i dont eat it for breakfast. So my favorite for breakfast - vianočka, or also lekvárové buchty.

Vauuu! Chleba, mast a cibula je vcelku hardcore! :) moja babka to zvykla papat, ale ja som sa k tomu nikdy nedokopal :)
😃 Ja si pamätám keď som mal 9 - 12 rokov (1989 - 1992) Chleba, tenká vrstva bravčovej masti (najlepšie s kúskami oškvarkov), cibuľa, trocha soli a mletej červenej papriky. Niekedy aj trošku horčice. 👍
Poloovica videa mmmm so good (half part of video mmmm so good )
hahahaha Yes!!! coz everything is sooo good 🤣🤣
I got today párky you need to try it its sooo good parky s kečupom alebo horčicou

😄✌🏽💚
veronika daj si pozor aby ta nezjedol
7:17 Yes, we eat vianočka for christmas instead of bread. We eat vianočka with kapustnica, or with údená krkovička.
We eat this christmas bread with a christmas creamy mushroom soup :) its unexpected but great !
Very interesting combination! :)
Filipinske ranajky su tiez fajn, pandesal with coffee, tocino with fried eggs :) ale najradsej mam Bicol Express! and rice :)

Ahhhh Kim, i love your laugh :D haha :D
thank you 💚💚
Plane scrumbled eggs are the base. We also put there tomatoes and red or green pepper but it calls lečo.
Ah yes! I like lečo too! Ive had it with rice as well 🤣
LEČO je na raňajky najlepšie. :)
Hello Kim, you should for sure try next time duck or goose fat instead of pork lard on that bread.. its a bit salty already and you would love it. :-)
Vyskúšajte vianočku s maslom a medom. Mňammmmm
Všetko to pečivo znie strašne chrumkavo. :D :D :D Odporúčam vyskúšať tú vianočku opiecť do hneda na suchej panvičke a potom ju natrieť maslom. Je to úplne skvelé a ešte k tomu kakavko. :D :D
Áno už to tak robím 😉✌🏽
Škvarelina z domacou slaninou a nasekanym śnidlinkom a slanyma rožkama to je iná papa 💋👍👍👍👍👍💙💖💗💛💝🇸🇰🇸🇰🇸🇰🇸🇰🇸🇰🇸🇰
Vianočka is my favorite 😜
22:00, the whole family watching Kimberly:
Me: laughing all the time
My son: "Mom, I want rožok so šunkou!!!
My husband: Go make us some bread!!!
🤣👍😘

She is screaming ,,dobre!" in a way you want to calm down some crazy tribe that you ,,like IT" :DD
hahaha 😂
Lučanka is one of the Bus stop in Petržalka :D
😂👍🏽
I had a Filipina girlfriend before and she did not like bread and the Slovak cuisine in general. When she did not have rice for every meal, she was not that much satisfied. For some reason she was afraid of trying new things. Sometimes I baked a strudel with poppy seeds or walnuts for her, and she liked it as you do.
Yes we are rice 🍚 people 😊🙋🏽♀️
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm this is so goooood mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
hahaha yes that's me when food is sooo yummy! :)
One of my favourite breakfast: Take hrianka (without cesnak), put some horčica and spring onion on it and on top goes volské oko :) (LOL it's a little bit weird to mix english and slovak in one sentence, but funny)
Interesting combination thanks for sharing 😊💚🙋🏽♀️
My favourite is vianočka with kakao without jam. I really love it, but i often have flakes with fruits. Yours videos are best 💕 and I have one question: What is your favorite word? ( i´m not sure you´ve said it before)
"Dobre" is my favorite slovak word 😄
Já teda Grango neberu jako klasické kakao 😃 Každopádně mi Češi a Slováci máme ještě jiné snídaně celkem zajímavé ale tyto jsou ty nejoblíbenější 🙂
👍🏽😉
4:00 Masťuuoouu😊
hahaha 🤣🤣🤣
I love bread with garlic, masť and onion❤️
Did you try hamandeggs?
I did, good as well! :)
Hmmmmm goood!!!
I really like praženica, but i doing it a little different :-) (with cheese, ketchup, ham - ok, its maybe not praženica anymore :-D ), but i dont eat it for breakfast. So my favorite for breakfast - vianočka, or also lekvárové buchty.
haha yea! I have got to try this buchty! 😋😋
Just say no to ketchup!
Hi Kim,you do very good
What are the plants growing in background?
those are my peppers and chilies growing! 💚💚
