Tara, you are the best, one of a kind. May the kindness you put in the universe come back to you ten times over. Alway sharing your knowledge. Have a blessed day. 💕
Always a winner! You sound so refreshed! I'm switching over to glass in almost everything. (Except sugar scrubs... cuz shower and glass don't mix.) I'd love win! Xoxox
Thank you for this! Just subscribed to your Patreon. I have a skin condition which makes my skin fragile, dry and dehydrated. This helps so much. Thank you again! ❤
I always appreciated you sharing your knowledge and experience making body products. Some of my products started from your beginner friendly formulations and I customized it. Again, thanks.
I recently got hurt at work. So now I’m trying to get by with your DIY’s. Truly appreciate this & you 😇☺️ I’ve been having so much fun with your videos 😇
Hey Tara - I have a question about preservatives I have wondered from your videos. I make all-natural face scrub that does not contain any water in the formula. I add vitamin E oil but currently no preservative. I was told i didn't need to add preservatives since I don't have water in my formula but I know sometimes people use my product in the shower so while I haven't had any complaints I want to make sure I am doing the right thing. Should I be adding a preservative to the formula?
great video~ I've been working with gelmaker NAT lately and it LOVE it, especially since its like 90 degrees F outside and i really don't want to be standing over a hot double boiler waiting for my oil phase to melt 😂
I’ve been making so many little batches lately I pretty much have try all most of theses ingredients but I try to use light weight oils for summer then for a thicker one I use mango or shea butter I love trying new recipes this one looks so easy simple
Stunning as always! I keep looking forward to your videos. 7 months pregnant and miss playing around with making. I’ve been wanting a light weight lotion but bed rest it is for now and watching your beautiful creations!
Don't view this comment as "hate." But for viewers reading this, liquid germall plus contains diazolidinyl urea. Diazolidinyl urea is a preservative that releases formaldehyde. It's well-known that formaldehyde causes cancer. Some people may argue, "but it's such a small amount." To me, why even use something that causes cancer to begin with no matter the amount. Bath & Body Works used diazolidinyl urea (maybe they still do). I stopped purchasing from them a long time ago as soon as I educated myself about ingredients. Maybe they've improved. Who knows. Fun fact: formaldehyde is used to preserve body parts. We were required to dissect a cat once in Physiology and the dead cat wreaked of formaldehyde. 😷 I think the FDA needs to revise its cosmetics regulations. They're so outdated. For instance European countries, Korea and Japan are years ahead of us when it comes to sunscreen formulating. But in the U.S., there's only a handful of non-mineral sunscreen ingredients that we can use to formulate sunscreens. Some of those ingredients burn the eyes. It just makes absolutely no sense why they haven't approved effective ingredients already being used elsewhere.
I totally agree with you about the US being behind on a lot of stuff! As for the liquid germall plus being a formaldehyde releaser. You are also a formaldehyde releaser and almost every thing we eat also contains formaldehyde. We literally are formaldehyde releasers ourselves. So if we were to avoid everything with formaldehyde we would have to avoid each other, our own homes are formaldehyde releasers, apples, broccoli, blueberries, so many things contain formaldehyde. It’s the percentage that makes the poison. Also the formaldehyde most likely isn’t present due to the overall formula. Yes, formaldehyde isn’t good for us, but our body’s can handle being exposed to it, since we create it ourselves and consume it constantly all day. It is ALWAYS the percentage that makes the poison. I want to win the jars!!!! Love your page and the transparent way you present yourself. ✨✨✨✨✨I was thinking I wanted to look for a cold process emulsifier last night and here you are today with this great video. Love it!!!!
Dimethicone is not bad? Why is it better to formulate natural cosmetics or am I wrong? Because if I'm going to make my own products I want to know which ingredients are healthiest for my skin, thank you.
Thank you Tara. Love this and must try. Thank you for a lovely lotion that's light in weight and soothing to your skin. I would love the jars and tops. Thank you!
Do you have a video on different kinds of natural preservatives? I want to stay away from the long shelf life preservatives even if the products don’t last as long.
Hello! I saw somewhere carrot cream with aloe vera gel and oils and no water, no emulsyfiers. What's your opinion on this? Also I woul love a recipe with beef tallow for face cream. Thank you!
Thank you, for simplicity. It’s always good to have when trying to formulate products.?Always easy to follow and build from ❤and would be grateful to be in your giveaway
When picking out ingredients and formulating, how much of each ingredient do you know to add? Also how do you know the benefits of each product and how do you choose?

hello Tara lee I really love you, can you please make a detailed video on (How to run facebook and instagram ad and target correct audience for cosmetic products)

I know this is an older video. But the fact that your geogard 221 isn't water soluble is confusing to me. I use Biogard 221 (the eu version?), and that is water or alcohol soluble. As far as I can see, geogard 221 should be too, even the one linked 😅 I'm just puzzled.
yeah it says water soluble but it doesn’t mix in with water. i did have a subscriber say it is water soluble if you mix it with glycerin or propandiol and mix it in for a while. so i’ll need to try that. i did an experiment adding geogard 221 to water and it settled to the top. so i’ll have to experiment with it more

No worries, I assumed that would be the case. I'd love them but I'm in Australia. I would never expect you to send a giveaway so far $$.
