Interviews between the songs.
01:57 Everything's Electric
08:15 Diamond In The Dark
16:13 Too Good For Giving Up
21:57 Once
26:58 The River
23:10 D'You Know What I Mean
41:28 Supersonic (mostly muted)
Oh my god, D'ya Know What I Mean was unbelievable. Liam's band has gotten tighter and tighter while his voice just keeps getting better!
This might be my favourite version of the song since the absolutely coked out gig at the GMEX in 97
D’ya know what I mean is my favourite oasis song, gave me goosebumps listening to this, haven’t heard him sing this well for years
Realmente ficou fodida demais.
Why Supersonic soundless? F....hell! Copyright?
When Liam first went solo, I wasn’t a fan of the band, they just sounded like they weren’t quite up to it. Especially when performing the oasis tunes. But as someone’s said they’ve become tighter and tighter over these last few years . Now some of their oasis renditions seem even more technical sounding live than oasis did. Not as loud though , but both great. And yes liams voice is better than ever, he had a dodgy period , what us die hard fans call the Kermit period, but he’s sounded great now since 2017
The pubs bit makes me laugh, 3 different liam versions all having a drink and some quality time, looks like my local back in the day. 😂😂
Liam is a living legend. A man of the people, and one of the last true remaining rock stars alive today.
To me it's like John Lennon being alive to him. True legend.
Liam is a world treasure, let's keep him playing forever!
I was a Noel guy for decades. But I’ve come to really love Liam. He’s gotten older and wiser. And he’s gained something I didn’t think any of the Gallagher brothers would gain; humility.
Agreed, 100%, I was a big fan of Noel for years until the past few years seeing Liam growing up basically
He grew up but retained humility and a boyish charm.
"Too Good For Giving Up" is a lovely tune...
He’s genuine. It’s never been an act with him, he’d be this way if he worked in ASDA.
Hope he plays Diamond In The Dark at the summer gigs. One of his best solo songs.
I need just one performance of Roll It Over and Diamond in the Dark, and then I can leave this world😍
Yeah, but the version he does in the Rockfield studio on this programme, is better than the one he's officially recorded & released... Don't you agree or, not ?.. Which one do you prefer ?.. I agree that it's one of his best solo songs though, definitely.... 🎤🎵🎶😎
@@vanman757 100% agree with you mate, his live rendition of Diamond in the Sky is unbelievable. I prefer it live than the studio recording
@@willyc.8141 Yeah man... Cool 😎👊🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👁✌🏻☝🏻👏🏻 Not just me, then....
@@willyc.8141 It was on Sky Arts just before... Did you see it ?.. I presume that you're English/British ?..
No one is better at being Liam Gallagher than Liam Gallagher ❤️
‘Too Good For Giving Up’ is by far a soul lifting tune, and the way Liam is with his kids actually warms my heart.
Fantastic production on this. Huge respect to the people at Rockfield.
Better than the recording.
I never liked D’Ya Know What I Mean until I heard this version. Instantly became one of my favourites
Last of the breed, I doubt we won't see an artist like this again.
I follow an account on IG where Liam regularly responds to fans in the comments. He’s really in touch with his fans. What a treasure
Twitter
@Denise what page?
@Denise He should forget about Noel and get on with his own life and career.
@Denise I don’t think they will make up, Bonehead getting better and coming back is the best we can hope for
It's lovely to see Liam's relaxed personality with his boys and their admiration for him 😊 🎉
This man made me whole heartedly fall in love with music as an 11yr old in 94.
Love the whole mix of this documentary almost sounds better than the album in a lot of places
Most of the album hasn't been well produced. You would've thought that an artist of his calibre would've got that part of it 'sorted'.
@@theselector4733 What? Production is excellent - probably the best thing the record has going for it besides Liam's performances.
@@bhr788 I like the album and the production but some of the mixes here were even better is all.
Too Good For Giving Up is too good for giving up. Love it.
His voice is amazing! Legend
Literally so fucking shocked how much he’s turned it around. 10 years ago it was R.I.P.
I love the way he holds the note like he used to in the 90’s, that famous Sun-shee-ine way he sings, he stopped doing it for a long while because his voice wasn’t holding up, amazing to see him back to singing like this again, probably the best he’s sounded since the late 90s
Nearly 30 years since I went to both Maine Road gigs I took my daughter (15) with me to the Etihad. Amazing gig.
We took a 14 yr old she came away with a black T/shirt with
Liam on the front, she wears it with pride :)
Liam's current voice fits great to sing Gas Panic! live again after so many years. Hope he remember that one to play on his gig
Very happy he is taking into account D' You Know What I Mean after 25 years. Its one of my favourites too.
so much respect for Liam, he lived/lives a wild life but owns it, the love he has for people and his family shines through this treasure, he's hilarious and profound... keep it up!
More Power is epic, I can just imagine the choir on stage next Friday and Saturday Evening at Knebworth waiting for him to start
He'll have to fly them in from Australia. Somehow don't think that's gonna happen 😁
@@theselector4733 He had a choir at the Etihad and Knebworth
“ More Power” at Knebworth. was an iconic moment when the crowd turned phone torches on Liam said “brilliant” and it was “beautiful “ my favourite moment
Makes me really happy to see Liam like this, he’s had his ups and downs over the years but he’s flying high again where he belongs
Flying high...That reminds me of birds for some reason.
I cannot get over how fkn god like his voice is! Takes me back man. WICKED!
ROCK N " ROLL...
LIAM GALLAGHER.......
His voice ❤
Once sounds marvellous. ❤️
I'm not nostalgic for Oasis. Saw them a bunch. But fuck me this gig is going to be epic. His new tunes are unreal. And the Oasis songs are going to be biblical
I hope someday my dad and I can get to a place where we call each other dickheads all day :D This is marvelous, thank you for the upload!! They're all having a good time, love it
You are a Rock n Roll King Liam 🤘🤘🤘🤘 Been fan since begining of Oasis ....still here
listening to you .... Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
The voice during EE, best I've heard it for ages......hits every note and is crystal clear
Thank you for uploading this to RUclips! Overseas fans can see it now👏
Mr Ward seems like an absolutely lovely fella, he's so nice to Liam and the boys right away and you can see it's genuine
The Cantona story is wonderful
I vill bring my own fucking sleeping bag..
😏
Liam is such a legend! D'you know what I mean? Perfection!
I love this being.
Great film, the telling of the Eric Cantona story is so funny. Thanks Liam.
Liam, my favorite part of you is your character, but your performance on stage is always hypnotyzing
Incredible how he remembers the barman lol. Just shows how down to earth he is
@killwill83 Jesus Christ that’s why people love him. Where have you been
Rockfield is legendary and all legends have recorded there. The locals are used to it. Oasis and other bands spent a lot of time in the local, it’s not a big deal in Wales, you’d be surprised who hangs around theses parts 😉 Stay free !
Thank you so much for posting this!
The last rock n roll star
Sounded quality 25 years ago
Sounds even better now
Live forever Liam G
Liam is the best rockstar his no other kind
holly fucking brilliant shit
I love his voice. It is so unique. Top 4 or 5 recognisable voices of all time. Some of those songs are absolutely beautiful.
The rawness of the sound here, his voice and standard of new songs make this sound quality ! Liam legend !!
Priceless
Knebworth Park June 4th Was absolutely epic, Liam you are the king of Rock 'n' Roll Sounded amazing live! Godlike! Biblical! C'MON YOU KNOW!
The River is a banging TUNE 👌
thanks for this!! GOLD footage documentary!! .. esp after the Rockfield film 👍
'Your too good for giving up' just awesome
*You're
*Too Good For Giving Up
He is on top form man.. fucking Amazing !
thank you from the US of A been trying to find somewhere to watch this!
His voice is like a good wine!
He’s gone from sounding like warm beer to a fine wine, great to see his vocals are back to probably the best they’ve been since the late 90s
3rd album in, best one yet. Skies the limit!…🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏
Thanks for the upload. I’ve watched it 3 times back to back.
The new tunes are solid but there's a different f**king aggression about 'D'you know what I mean' that cannot be replicated. F**king classic 😎
The majesty and genius of Noel Gallagher right there. The man was undoubtedly the greatest songwriter of his generation.
Always thought that song was underrated. Glad he done that 👏
Noel's choice of notes has always been interesting tho the chord patterns are simple. For DYKWIM there's plenty of bluesy flavor in the verse notes that makes it sound super cool and sneery. Plus the guitar solo simple as it is but theres a lot of attitude to it and super emotive. You cant do that by putting two and two together it's mostly an instinct thing...
Thank you Friends! Live Forever!
What a legend...for me at least❤️ people who criticize him probably don't know him at all
it's easy to criticize but i think it's a trend via the internet and when it comes right down to it, this guy is a legend, he's back, he's playing Knebworth aged 50 and he has a few good years in him yet ( get well soon bonehead and join liam where you belong)
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the man and he was a fuckin Gent! He went behind the bar to get a pen to sign a PG bag for my female friend an all as she was brickin it. “Don’t worry about it babe”. This was beady eye days. Gave everyone time and courtesy. Legend.
@@TheBobbymcd he will play Knebworth at 49 years of age
I'm with you Willy! 💯
@@oasis4ever718 ❤️💪
This is all just incredible
Back on top once again this boy just keeps the dream alive 🕶🎤🎸🎹🎼🎻
👊🏻🙏🏻👍🏻🎹🎤🎵🎶😎
Diamond in the dark is the standout 🔥🔥
It sounds a thousand times better here played live than on the record. The mix and production on the album version is very poor, particularly on the instruments. His voice has been mixed high and sounds good but the instruments sound muddy and not as clear and loud as they should be.
Brilliant. Liam could also be a comedian, could watch him all day. keep going Liam. 😀
The new songs are amazing
I héard the new album. It's brilliant, too good for giving up is beautiful sad but gives you hope.
It's Liams best album.
Liam The Best 🤘🤘🤘
Lennons Left handed like his Uncle Noel 🙏🏼
Wow, love the new songs!
Lennon & Gene sitting there watching their dad record D'you Know What I Mean? like 'how on earth do we live up to this?'
All my people right here right now d'ya know what I mean, yeah yeah.
Absolutely epic. Great sounding, never ages.
STILL IN LOVE WITH THIS LG
The riffs for Everything's Electric (credits) and Wall of Glass (intro) have already become classics.
This was so fucking cool, pumped for his Aussie tour
God bless you Liam!!!!!
“Whats the story mooooning glory”
😂😂😂
Dya know what i mean was UNREAL! one of my favourite OASIS songs ever but liam sung that like it was the 90s
God Bless Liam and his family.
Wow....Just WOW.
He may be the coolest dad ever
and the funniest
@@jackieburkhart7879 He definitely passed on his good taste and sense of style to his kids (:
@@jessica.2673 💙👍def, gorgeous sons
Daddy Liam!
@killwill83 💋
Great documentary and the band sounds even better than in records 🎯
Of course it's great to see DYKWIM being played, and the new songs are great, but man I had not listened to The River in quite a while and that sounded AWESOME.
The River live Heavy Stomping RnR! Class
i know liam , noel neither Oasis dont give a shit about what their music means to me..They are the soundtrack of my life, now and forever
This is great. The band sounds amazing. Thanks.
Legend
Great to see his music and oasis tunes , same level
Sir Liam Gallagher
Liams so cool it must be hard for his kids to be like right how do I do what I want to (musically or not) without people constantly comparing! Can’t wait for Knebworth Friday. Going to be BIBLICAL
Come on Liam, break everything !! 💪💪👍💥💥💫
This is amazing
Musing about recording session "There was a cricket bat, there was an air pistol". Legend.
I loved the way that Liam talked about Eric Cantona, was so funny.
Dimon's in the dark so good one of his best tunes
with "Once" he became LeGend , a great song among the most beautiful of all time!
So true a classic “ we only get to do it once”
Saw oasis a couple of times in there later days
was too young for Nebworth back in the day
Taking my wife n daughter on Friday🤘🏼
That song, 'Once', needs a stinging solo of Noel's guitar. IMHO. But still, this session is legendary.
Look at the Old man, He feel so blessing when he meet Another Gallagher Brother 👀
Love it!
Dykwim 2022 sounds just as Biblical as 97!
😱this is amazing!!
Liam a fucking legend ❤
Thanks. Very good!!
