    Great birds. Ours is nearly one year old. Still being patient with him. So want him to be more trusting but in his own time eh?

      Ive found handling him later in the day/night is best. Hes more relaxed and less bitey lol. When i let him out in the day he obsesses over his reflection and isnt interested in me.
      Think its time i got him a girlfriend.

    I think your kakariki may be a girl
    Male kakariki's have a grey beak

    • @MLudford
      @MLudford  5 лет назад +4

      Sorry but thats not true. Males have a larger beak than females. I bought him from a great breeder who has bred them for 35 years. So i trust his word over yours.
      If you look at my earlier videos, i had a female that i rescued when it was sitting in my garden with no tail. I nursed her back to full health.
      Thanks for looking though

      @@MLudford I was misled and given information by someone who I thought knew. That is why I said what I said. So yeah, trust his word over mine and thanks for giving me more information than I had

      @Aleisha Tomkinson i never mentioned the colour of his beak, i said it was bigger.

      @@CrazyDuckie94 no bother at all. The best thing to do is research. My birds barely a year old, so hes still young and hard to tell. But trust me hes definitely a boy, hes a little shit sometimes.
