This is somehow the second time that no BattleBots fan knows if the show is getting renewed or not
Third, actually. First after the original Comedy Central run, then again after 2016, and again now. But with the live events they're doing, this time it's probably a matter of "when" more than "if"
@@genericusername3518 Yeah, I heard on the subreddit that the reason why filming hasn't been happening yet is because of F1 or something. Still I just can't help but be reminded of when ABC just stopped talking about it for a year and then it got announced that it was moved to Discovery
@@redben1252 Another reason is the Discovery - Warner Bros merger and the TV strikes.

The whole thing is a cluster f..., been no info for so long , yet the people that do what they always do with a good thing is try and turn it into a money game , come to Vegas , see the show it’s so great there aren’t even new seasons being promoted, come over pay to see the fake one , another great show ruined , I loved battlebots, from day one , and it’s better then it’s ever been and they just couldn’t let it be

David Zaslav. When are YOU gonna hit the greenlight button for BattleBots World Championship 8!? It's been 2 years since Season 7 was filmed! I'm losing my patience! I know it's not canceled, but this hiatus situation is literally killing me, more so than the hiatus between Season 2 and 3. This show is literally my Christmas.
I'm excited for this!
It's a shame BattleBots (maybe this is just a WB-Discovery issue?) doesn't do more to keep the community in the loop on if we have another season coming out and when. You've gotta do better advertising to keep new people interested!

Hey BattleBots Team, I’m not entirely sure that your main screen for your channel/profile has spelled “Streaming on RUclips” correctly. You have Steaming, I’m not sure if this was intentional due to a theme you all have planned but I have too much respect for this art and genre of work done over the years to not say something. I wanted to post it somewhere and hopefully you all will get it corrected and not have this become a running joke.

BattleBots has become AEW where everyone working for them says everything is great but it's a sinking ship and will end when the owners want to stop sinking money into it.
