I love these family or father/son projects like duck and that rusty mailbox, only to get absolutely mauled by teams who spend literally tens of thousands on a bot with a whole engineering team behind it

The only way to withstand the hit ''better'' is by material and weak spot ( material again, the hardest wins ). It's less boring when you can do damage to arena too and it's it up to bots can they do that. The power you needs to hit on the floor is not easy task and without that we wouldn't get Jay's iconic laughing 😂
It might not be the bot's fault, but it's totally the driver's, as it's their job to avoid unexpected floor hazards. If they didn't want their bot to end up stuck on a chunk of floor, they shouldn't have driven into the broken bits.
Having risks related to the destructiveness of the bot's weapon is pretty common for all of these fights. Ripping up the floor to then get yourself caught on it is just another one of those.
I'm sorry. But I think the editor of this video has to lookup the word 'destroyed'. I only watched the first two clips and neither bots that lost were destroyed. Unable to move is NOT the same as destroyed. Major thumbs down for misleading title!

Duck vs Cobalt was one of the worst fights ever, it was extremely unfair. Cobalt was doing so good while duck wasn't doing anything at all. The is the fight where I absolutely hated duck.
