When you are tuning a motor, are you only looking at the current draw to determine timing? Is there a specific current you are looking for? Is it always 6.4 or .5?
6.5 amps seems to be the sweet spot for 17.5 motors in a 2wd buggy.
Is a motor fan necessary when increasing the timing for the higher amp draw? With a out of the box motor and 32/72, I'm running 150-160 after 5 min
I do recommend a fan for 1/10th racing on the motor. I don't use a fan for 1/8th racing on the motor.
Can you share the part number for the high torque rotor? Thank you!
