First time I watch one of your videos and I have to say… I love the happiness that shells make you feel. I live in Spring Texas like and hour from Galveston and I love going out there just to connect with all the shells and the breeze.
Should ask Mike to make frame boxes for your collection. 10 years on you can still talk about your findings. Thank you for sharing your experience and video. Regards
Bingo card 😂😂😂 love it! You are a wealth of knowledge. I love your excitement when you are learning new things or sharing what you already know. The cactus/flower video was one of my favorite. Oh, as for the puzzle pieces …..look in the cat litter box hahaha. ❤️
Hi Mike, Hi Kerry, so good to see you both again and looking so well and enjoying yourselves.. Kerry your shell collection is getting so big and its good to see you having such a good time finding them and even better that we get to learn the names of them a good idea to share with us..Look forward to seeing where you go next, take care of yourselves, thinking of you both..Love you both.. K.
Your joy and enthusiasm are wonderful! You both look like you are thriving. Kerry, please write to the company that created that puzzle and let them know about the missing pieces! They may send you a coupon for a replacement puzzle. (They ought to!) Mike, I know you are going to miss your fishing buddy!
This was wonderful to watch with my coffee this morning while we get yet another snowstorm in western NY. 😕 Speed shelling in the car was super fun. 💞💞 Mama Kitty was so cute 'helping' with the puzzle and getting the zoomies. Are you sure she didn't hide those 2 pieces while you weren't looking? 🤔🐈🐾 She was like 'I can take that coyote, mom! Let me at him!' 🤣🤣🐈 I had never heard of Sea beans before. That was fascinating and the purse ones were the best. 💞 I would love to do the same bingo hunt but we'd probably be in a van so I'd be taking pics and putting them back with no room for storage. 👍 What a great winter retreat. Thanks so much for sharing. Didn't think there would be any shells left on etsy but I got a bag! 🎉🎉 Happy bday to me (55 next Thursday) 🎂 -Troy & Aimee
Hey you guys! We can't wait to finally get out on the road and meet up with you and Mike along the way somewhere. We are getting closer to being done with our skoolie and we are so ready!
👍🏻😁❤️ something to add to your beach scavenging….. sea glass. Was always a big deal to find a nice piece, and lots of friends have bowls of sea glass they’ve collected. 👍🏻😁
Kerry, I love your shell collection, and impressed with your knowledge of them all. Y’all picked the ideal time to spend on the beach and enjoyed seeing your adventures while here. Happy travels.
I’m so glad you guys are having the time of your life 👌👍🙏❤️🙋♀️ Kerry & Mike you only live once, twice, three times the lady, and I love you guys lol lol
Sea Beans are oddly specific. They are ridiculously diverse, past a point of commonality. And Beanz generally need to be chit (where you scratch them open or cut them open or nick the surface, and then soak them) or they don't germinate. And some can last a really really long time, like hundreds or thousands of years at the bottom or floating in sea mats in the ocean... And theyre technically alive inside the shell, and can be affected by the environment before germination. So you can find some ridiculously weird mutants that way. Which happens on land also, but they don't just accumulate in a predictable area. If they do itll just be 1 or 2 species, and often, over time, they get convergent evolution and all look the same.
Kerry, I’m sorry for laughing at your beach floor. And Mamacita’s tail sticking out on the steps was kinda funny. Suggestion, why don’t you take shoes off when you enter the bus?
We were going in and out of the bus much too often and most of the time we were wearing flip-flops and the sand weren't necessarily on the bottom of our shoes as much as up our legs and everywhere else it's just was unavoidable.
Mike actually does have a metal detector and tried it there on the beach. However, the sand at Padre Island is very hard and is not your typical fluffy sand that you would find at a public beach and therefore if you drop something it tends to bounce off the sand and stay on top of the surface. It's very hard to lose things there. Mike did try metal detecting several times and found a few cents and quite a few lead fishing weights but nothing of value.
@@BussyMcBusface lol Port Aransas is Port A ! There's a deep jetty on the beach with great fishing ! I was just curious. It's interesting place to be but stay may not be as long.
Thank you for the videos. I have been going to south padre for 40 years coming in 2023. Can’t wait to find some shells and beans

I ❤️ this!! I've never heard of sea beans before!
Nice collection
Nice finds
MAMACITA LOOKED LIKE SHE GOT INTO THE CATNIP......EVERYTHING IS SOO GREEN.......
We love shelling on SPI and Padre Island
I enjoyed watching y'all on my Texas beach. It truly looked little like like fun. Be careful on tasks trip, and may Father YHVH bless y'all.
Sea beans? Huh never heard of them before. Thanks for teaching me about them!

Kerry loves finding sea glass and we did indeed find some sea glass while we were there.
I found my first sea bean (hamburger) on a NC outer banks beach last week. (Corova/Corolla). I was so happy!

How many miles down are you on the beach ??Great finds 💜💟☮️

Do you have a video of the bathroom being done with your mosaic Kerry?
It's not quite done yet but Kerry plans to finish it this summer.
Yaaay, number 1
The cat took the two pieces☺
I Always watch till the End. So RUclips RUclips payment for the video 👍🤣👌👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hi Kerry! I am so happy you are out there living your best life!
Sending you love & prayers from New Mexico!
Nice....ps the dutch word for marble is knikker
Where are you finding these seashells what beach? Because I can't find nothing in South Padre Island seashells
Does the 1 in - 1 out rule apply to Kerry's shell collection? 🤔😛🤣
I'm sorry to say no.
That's definitely a horse conch and not triton. It's a nice one though!
You guys need a metal detector you'd find all kinds of money and jewelry and treasure and still collect seashells just a thought 💙

Puzzle pieces missing?? Check the cat. They love chewing them.
I will tell you there was a lot of searching going on but we never came up with those darn pieces.
Did ya'll do any stays at Port A ?
No we did not get that far north until we bypassed Port Aransas and went to indianola Beach which was quite pleasant.
@@BussyMcBusface lol Port Aransas is Port A ! There's a deep jetty on the beach with great fishing ! I was just curious. It's interesting place to be but stay may not be as long.
You guys need to get a metal detector that would be fun.
Do you also pick up the trash
Yes we do.
I HAD TO COMMENT AGAIN, ONE OF THOSE SEA SHELLS NAME SOUNDS RACIST IF YOU SAY IT TOO FAST. LOL!😁
Bill, you are hilarious!
