I didn't realize one could get such a variety of timbres and dynamics out of an accordion. Such a skillful performance!
This was a superbly judged rendition: perfect. JSB would have smiled with pleasure to hear it... may even have wiped away a tear. I LOVE this player!
Thank you for your kind comment, Corinna.
Thanks Maestro for your sober, unpretentious, and faithful interpretation of Bach.
Excellent
Great! As a Cellist, I love the bass!! Thanks very much.
Thank you maestro, what a splendid interpretation! I rediscovered these beautiful pieces.

Superb, in no hurry. From Scotland.

excellent
Excelente Maestro Barberena, felicidades!.
Beautifull phrasing in both voices and sumptuous registration, very well thought out performance by a master of the instrument.
Muito bom. Faça mais, mostre mais. Seu modo de tocar é muito agradável, fiel ao texto musical. Parabéns!
Exquisito
Maravilloso
Bravisimo!!!!!!!!
I won't laugh at this instrument any more. Lady of Spain, my ass.
Excellent player, thoughtful phrasing, good tempo, good interpretation...enjoyable ! If you like Bach listen to Wanda Landowska interpretations , especially the Goldberg variation on Harpsochord. I don't like the Bass reeds on this accordion, the treble is quite nice.
👏👏👏👏
Muy bueno
Es muy difícil tocar eso. Enhorabuena!!!
Excelente!!!!!
Molto differente da suonarle al clavicembalo.
Such a quiet bass mechanism! I would love to own such an accordion. The freebass mechanism does seem to become lower in pitch as it moves closer to the top (rather than the bottom) of the accordion. What system is this?
Daniel Hartnett C system. It's the system used in Spain, Italy, France, Serbia, Scandinavia, England (largely). Both hands are mirror image and are low to high from top to bottom.
Ben de Souza I see. I play piano accordion and I have recently begun studying bayan with Stas Venglevski. I'm learning Bach's fourth invention right now and your video provided an excellent performance of it for me to see as I try to learn it. Thanks
Your playing inspires me to be a better musician!
