Hello
Fails to mention the auto switch On when you put the test strip in the meter. After a few seconds it changes to the "Flashing dollop of blood sign". I have been diagnosed with diabetes and the Diabetes department at the hospital supplied me with one of these and told that normal is between 5 and 10, (I was 28 when diagnosed) So I hope you are on the way to get your insulin

I had a very high reading which I was very surprised to see, then I run a second test and it gave a near normal reading. Any explanation? I am not sure if I can really trust any reading from my wavesense meter
See above. I use several testers and test repeatedly at times. Very rarely do I get the same results minute to minute. Very rarely ! The point here is that meters can, do, and will likely always be approximate... but that is fine, we can work with that. Do several test and take the average if you like. And test your device against the doctor's test the same time - within a few minutes of their test -- do your own. Their's from drawn blood sample presumably would be more accurate than our home meters. But you can bet if that test was done five times in one hour, you could get a degree of difference anyway. They must have tested such things 100 times. I wish I knew what they found!
Mine has on several occasions given me a 'normal' reading (6.8 = 7.2) when I was heading into a bad hypo. Also the batteries need to be frequently replaced
Looks interesting , technology is moving on a pace, thanks for the review
What does tagging the meal mean.? None the wiser.
I really do appreciate you Dr Igudia youtube, your commitment towards saving human lives is steadfast ,all the knowledge I got from you and,the help with the herbal meds, I was recently tested negative of type 2 diabetes,I’m so happy thanks doc
Nice review EXCEPT the viewer never gets to see the meter screen. The meter is held close to the reviewers face and she can apparently see just fine and talks about her experience but there is nothing for the viewer to see in this video. Glad she likes it; remains a complete mystery to the viewer. Ergo: poor
review.
Just got one of these from my GP. I find it impossible to read because of the low contrast, dark screen, The backlight is so dim, it only helps in a darkened room.
This is my biggest fault with the meter. But I'll live with it. My insurance covers the Accu-Chek brand. My copay for 100 strips is $30. The "store brand" equivalent for the JAZZ meter and 100 strips was $35 my cost. I can, when on sale, get 200 strips for $25.
FWiW this is made by ONsync.
12.4 blood, dam! Get this women some insulin... I feel awful when my bloods past 12.
Inaccurate junk. Always runs at least 1.2 units above my hba1c result.
cant even connect bluetooth to the phone
Had it for a week now, 5 times I have Er2 reading. Useless.
