This is so beautiful. It seems simple at first but actually it is quite complex and I love it.

Absolutely mesmerizing! Although the collecting of Bianzhong bells onto a frame only began about 4000 years ago, the clapperless bell is one of China's oldest instruments. Legend has it that Ling Lun carved bamboo pipes in ancient times, tuned to the pitches of songbirds. And that the first Chinese bells and chimes were tuned to those pipes. Our blessings to the Behring Global Educational Foundation for sharing this stirring and inspirational performance! Kenneth will be remembered with love the world over by your good work.

"Yang Guan San Die" isn't as old as these Zhou bells, right?

That is why music had religious significance and was considered necessary for the elite rituals of the Bronze Age.
It is also the reason why the prototypes for these bells were found buried in the tomb of a Chinese marquis of that period.
