Another great bait for the buffalo is night crawlers when you can get them, I was night fishing on the road casting down into the hole, I was catching more on a floater with a 62 inch lead with night crawlers, than the bread on a bottom sinker

I used an entire bag of cold water mix with the bread&honey and only caught one Smallmouth Buffalo at this spot. Was casting to the +10ft portion. Rest were crappies and golden shiners.
man the devs act funny sometimes with the catches. Try different times of day, bait, and even quitting the game and logging back in.
@@CharlesMacro yeah it's definitely worth checking out until I get on to emerald lake.. atm I'm having really great luck fishing for bass with a 1/4oz casting spoon and small minnows right in the middle of the lake.

You can fish on the road you can put your rod stand through the fence and you can get literally 50 feet from that spot and I use it in all the time

Whoopwhoop!!! Hubz n I began playing this game at 11am today. He caught the pickerel first (Rig: Value spin 6.3, #2 hook, 3lb test, #1 spoon) then he caught the spotted bass with the same setup. Lastly, my challenge was to catch the buffalo. I watched several yt vids, they said to use dough balls or mayflies on an oval bobber...epic fail even the location and depth was incorrect (60-68 depth). I found your vid, bought your setup (Rig: Creek Pro Feeder 7.10, 4lb braid, #2 hook, Bait bread w/ honey, open feeder 1/2oz, simple bell, quiver tip 1oz, minispin 800, mono leader .005, and set the white, yellow, red dot to yellow.) I set a marker to the middle of the deep area by the farm fencing and cast the first time and got a nibble catching a blue gill (depth 8.8ft) the next cast resulted in catching a blue gill at the same depth. My third and final cast resulted in an early morning, 10 min fight to land a 2.582lb, 16.729in SMbuffalo!!! Thank you soooooo much for sharing your virtual angler method. Earning 33XP $82, We had a great time together and we will be watching more of your vids...coz your accurate data is much appreciated. KEEP VFISHING!!!

Do you have to be a certain level to buy certain food, because I do not see the bread with honey I am just starting
If you aim your spinner to the left towards the houses youll get bass as well instead of pike while waiting

I need to know what that lure and rod combo is in print. If someone could post it greatly appreciated. Also is anyone else playing on the ps4 that found it hard to learn the controls at first. (Im thinking this game was orignally for pc.) Great vid btw. This game helps me with stress.

Most likely your hook size. Try a size #1 hook.

I keep getting shiners I use the exact same setup but tried dough balls bread with honey and hook 2 or 4 and it's a sunny day
Try different bait. Sometimes the game will act funny until you find that right bait.

The game is funny like that sometimes. I usually change hours or days. I even turn the game off and back on to reset the fish. Were you able to catch the smallmouth? They did some updates and moved it to another spot as well.

Not from day one but once I unlocked most things - I figured out how to get better rods and that stuff I just need to know what exactly to get, (bait, rods etc) where to fish in Missouri etc much appreciated

The devs nerfed the spot and bait. It work less well as it did. Try using semolina balls, dough balls, or corn. Also try the deep spots in the middle of the lake as well and different times of day and weather.
I do the same thing but straight slow and at about 30ft I get a bite almost every time

Hey boss. Question, so if I use a bigger hook, it should maximize the chances of catching ONLY Buffalo and not shiners right? Like maybe a 2/0, and just a recommendation, I bought some buoy markers so I marked the deepest spot to consistently hit the exact same spot easier. Thanks for the other tips!

Thanks for the video. First time I tried, I had the wrong setup and broke everything on the first cast. Second time i had a 2 lb leader on 4 lb main line. Caught a couple, then got a bigger one,, the line stress meter maxed and the line broke. Watched your video, then put a 5.5 lb leader on the 4 lb line and went crazy. Bread and honey wasn't working that day, probably due to weather or something, so switched to pet food.

Hey Larry. They nerfed it a bit. Try using semolina and dough balls. Also try turning left in in the same spot and casting past the Lily pads to the right a bit about 100-150 ft. I'm gonna make an updated vid.

Funny i come across your video, been grinding up from level 2 to 8 or 9 the last week, done this by useing one feeder rod and a float rod after not getting much success on spoons ect, so yeah long story short im now aiming to be at least level 20 in the next week and a half, after buying the bottom feeder pack today so now have 3 feeder rods a float rod and a casing rod

@@CharlesMacro much love for the reply, was fishing that same spot after i watched and commented, set up 3 feeder rods on allrms was hitting 8 - 10.5 ft depth averages bitting straight away hectic with 3 rods all popping off at the exact same time pretty much, have learnt now that method is bettter on lesnì vìla fishery better managed anyway roughly the same amount of bites

I have the exact setup as you i think but i hot another reel and i cant throw that far whats my problem and what hook do u use
Is the weight heavy enough. Is your line long enough?
My rod cant cast out that far is there any spots that are closer?
You can try repositioning around the lake. Just try to hit the spot from another location.
On top of the dam, use your map to live yourself up...once you get your position set up, you'll need to cast out about 48 to 50 ft.
