Greg Daniels: a screenwriter, a television producer, a (film) director, and the co-creator of "King Of The Hill" with Mike Judge ("Beavis And Butthead" animated series; the "Idiocracy" film)
How the hell can USC allow this kind of camerawork??? how hard would it be for this school of all schools to have three stationary cameras so that they could get some good close ups and a wide??? anyway.
I'm so glad they instantly started poking at Lawrence O'Donnell, could he have started off this discussion in a more bloviating manner? 🤣 Brilliant writers, great to have them all on the same stage.
+Cosmonauteable well in that case, lets turn this entire thread into a 5 year time capsule. Within 5 years I will be on an AdultSwim show. See you guys in a few years
I find it interesting they think the monorail episode (which aired in season 4) was a turning point as far as realism goes. This clip is from the second season of the Simpsons ruclips.net/video/hc8ngiMlCto/видео.html.
Conan looks upset, as if the message being sent wasn't the one he wanted representing him. I say that at 7:07 or 7:09 mark where he looks frustrated and gets the 50 yard stare.
I noticed the same thing. Why do you think. ? was the other guy suggesting that pretty much a harvard lampoon didn't have to struggle after to find show business jobs
Nah I don't feel that, I think he's just comfortable enough with these guys to not have to reassure them every moment that he's listening and approving, like he has to with celebrities. He's just being relaxed and thoughtful.

I was just watching another video where Conan is discussing the Simpsons with the original writers and they bring up this specific point and even talk about the very clip that you brought up. It's a very interesting discussion: ruclips.net/video/DtJ28qOEG1g/видео.html
A new talk with Conan that I haven’t seen? …lemme make some popcorn real quick 😂
Conan's the best. Couldn't stop smiling at the end.
Greg Daniels is such a genius! I love his insight of Story and Joke Writers and how they go hand in hand.

My take of this round is that, as usual, the most intelligent and gifted artist got the least amount of mic time :)

Hahaha right!
And no effing microphones for the questions??? Unbelievable
i love how you have to guess what the questions were
Yeah, it makes it difficult to follow. The responses are funny, but it's hard to catch the context
You can't expect a small upstart college like USC to have the resources for an audience mic 😂
DUDE!!!! It's so nuts to go back to this almost a decade later and hear that THIS is how Megan Amram got her foot in the door!
Writing for the Simpsons back in its prime is the equivalent to getting your masters
Well the camera guy definitely won't be getting into Harvard

Damn!
Conan is extremely fast with the comebacks
Calm, low volume, Very nice to sleep too. Thanks

DOUG KENNEY! The best of them all hands down!
42:08 kills me
Start to build your body of work
Pass your 10000 hours
Work hard
Memories of Dylan’s return from England press conference bits 😂❤
Conan and 3 guys I don't know. It's cool to see how much they had to go through to make it.
You mean go to Harvard, join the Lampoon, support the mafia
Greg daniels is the producer and co creator of The Office and Parks and recreation
You don't know who Lawrence O'Donnell is?
@@hilmizakaria7129 He was also writing partners with Conan on SNL
Greg Daniels really doesn't want to be there.
Conan looks bored and Al is just putting up with it from the looks of it
Hearing the questions wasn't necessary here?!!
No mics for Q&A. No questions repeated. Odd.
need mics so we can hear
37:00 Israeli brain scientist
41:08 Reverend doggie
1:14:00 Jim news
Must stop legacy enrollment
The camera work here is unbelievable. How can anyone think this is acceptable, if you do DON’T FILM ANYTHING
I thought they were going to roast Harvard.
I really hope I get into this school in two years!
+IceManTheGreat Well...? How did it go?
Did you?
+IceManTheGreat Did IceMan ever get into Harvard? The people of the comment section may never know...
+IceManTheGreat I too am oddly curious about this. The suspense is killing me

He's just thinking ahead.
Circie Quisling That's not true!

Thats just every irish resting face, always upset
Is every questions directed at Conan or does he just monopolize the time?
Really unprofessional camera and mic work on this
