Conan O'Brien was ahead of the game a decade ago. He saw where traditional broadcasting was going and realized everything was shifting to the internet. He adapted by having a strong digital presence, creating bits and segments that really were meant for RUclips, (Things like clueless gamer, Conan Without Borders) and then later adapted his whole show from a 1 hour traditional format to a half hour with a single guest and launching a very successful and popular podcast. Now he's off nightly television entirely and developing a show with HBO Max that is sure to be another hit. Not only is he the funniest late night show host--he's the most innovative by a long shot.
When watching his show, I think it's sometimes easy to forget how much of an intellectual Conan really is. The way he speaks, and his use of vocabulary really shine through in more serious interviews. And yet, he is able to turn it around with something so witty or absurd.
The way Conan answers these questions shows that he puts a lot of thought into everything he does. You can tell that Conan loves his job. #waytogoconan
This was a more serious interview, kind of boring, and yet, I love Conan so much I watched the whole thing, riveted to everything he said. He is so smart and well-spoken. So polite and nice. I have problems.
Conan is so intelligent and inspirational. He really makes me want to be a better person! As for Piers, you are the host of the show, NOT the guest. If you are gonna end the interview, let the guest be the voice of his own words for the last say.

I think the worst I could say about him is that he's obnoxious: on his CNN show he likes to interrupt guests and is just plain rude. Yes, he's usually perfectly justified in his interruptions (it's usually a guest who's trying to stonewall for whatever reason), but it's just a matter of "decorum", and I'm not being uppity...just showing people a modicum of respect will get you better interviews. He should watch more Charlie Rose.
