Great to see you back!!! My first mini dachshund would run with me and our runs varied from 5 to 9 miles through the forest around Santa Cruz so they are not fragile and jumping is fine. Our most recent mini dachshund could not be bothered with the long runs but he does love!!! to run on the beach chasing me. There is a RUclips video where a runner and his girlfriend (he runs 4 minute mile and she does 5 minute miles) test their 1.5 yr old mini dachshund on a 1 mile run and it ran a 4.5 minute mile it dropped his girlfriend lol and at the end it was ready for more but both he and his girlfriend were exhausted. You should check it out. They are the prefect dog very good around other dogs, children and very portable. And they do not need to be in sweaters especially in calif. they are very hardy.
You will LOVE being a DOG MOM! TRUST ME! I reccomend getting a harness for the dog that has a leash attatchment on the chest for walks... easier and more humane than from the neck... Get her microchipped and get a tag for her collar that has her name on one side and "if found please call (your phone number)" on the other in case she gets lost.

Gaining weight ... when my youngest son turned 21 I was planning a party for him. He begged me to stop - all he wanted was a big container of 'more mass'! Then he got the opportunity to go to the UK on a working, holiday visa. Eating junk food, he gained weight. He is in his early 40's now and FAT!!! With your 'surprise' I thought you're going to tell us you're expecting a baby! I'll wait patiently! Maintain a healthy diet and make sure you get enough folic acid in your diet before you get pregnant. Love you lots and lots!!! ♥♥♥♥❤❤❣

I can relate to your husband’s allergies: I too did try to have a cat as my first wife was, like you, a “cat lover” but it did not work and our doctor warned us that keeping trying could result in serious pulmonary issues…but he is a good husband since he let you have this ADORABLE puppy! You will find that dogs, contrarily to cat that grows independent with age, will constantly seek your company and affection and will become your “best friend” ever…Blue will get to know you so well she will be able to tell your “mood” and even comfort you when you’re “sad”…You will learn so much about dogs 🤣…Foods that are good for them and the ones to avoid (chocolate, onions, garlic, avocado, etc) She already has a positive influence on you, taking you “exercise” at the beach 🏖…You look and sound very happy! …and so beautiful, as usual 😉You hair is just “radiant” in the sunlight (that shot where you’re on your balcony talking about the smoke) I also enjoyed watching you preparing Thanksgiving at your In-Laws…With all the pups running around…a wonderful family of Dog-Lovers 🥰 Thank you for this very uplifting update on you Lady Svetlana and I wish you and your new husband (and your “baby Fur-Ball Blue) a very good and Safe week! Ah. Yes Dachshund pups refuse to walk in the beginning. Also they think big time with their stomachs and are loud as hell! They also sleep like champs! My dachshund is 14 years old and still will not shut up! Oh. Don’t forget them belly rubs!!

Everyone (almost everyone) I know who has gone to live in the US says that there is no comparison. with the life they led here in Portugal and only return when they return, when they are retired. I hope you do well in this country and that everything goes well for you, I also hope that your jewelry business is successful. I have had wieners you need to try to control all jumping ALL jumping. The thing is i know its impossible in reality so you can only do your best. Their spines are very unstable. But you can only do your best so that is all you can do. Dogs will be dogs. x

Everyone says Hello to each other in Kansas which, is probably different than Russian Culture. One could leave their car on while running into the store and nobody will steal one's car or one's belongings, that's how nice people are there. Its also such a trip that youre here not too far away now, ive been following you for such a long time, lol. Ventura County is a very nice area except Ventura City, which has a different ideologically alignement and where more of the crime is like Oxnard. Ventura has lots of great areas for outdoor activities once things are back to normal again. Seeing this video, I know that youre doing well but, I will pray for you. My Ex-Gf's whole neighborhood was burned out and completely gone. My Family was pretty close but, saved and are okay. One could not even go outside the house or have car windows down without having a burned sore eyes and throat. Dark smoke everywhere and trees were felled everywhere. Hello Svet I have two Dachhounds we call then sausage dogs in the UK Father is Hector daughter Is Minnie Mother sadly passed ,, The main problem is their backs , don't let them on beds or settees as they jump off will damage their long backs , also stairs ok going up but hard for then going down ..they love digging in the garden , they need a lot of loving , Anything you want to know drop a line
One other thing , Dachhounds eat like a larger dog breed , they always beg for food , you have to be strong and feed them at dinner times only or they get fat this extra weight strains their backs Bury his / her toy in the sand let her/ him find it and did it up , great fun Not too much sun tho ,, Tom

Jumping is bad for wiener dogs, especially jumping off a couch. Make sure you have thick, fluffy rugs. She is adorable!

Wiener dogs are my favorite "small dog." I am really a "big dog guy, " though... I have a 90# Great Pyrenees and a 60# Chocolate Labradoor Retriever.
