The Pokemon-TCG is MUCH worse; Cycling out the old cards to the point of being illegal every few years or so... 😑 Konami at least allows older cards like Blue-Eyes and Monster Reborn to still be playable till this day... I once made this Donphan/Copperajah Deck from the Sword/Shield Sets, only for it to be made illegal by the time S/V rolled right in... 🙄 On the other hand, I use old cards in a Dark Magician Deck that STILL receives supports till this day for Yu-Gi-Oh...
@@itfigurescomics6704 I agree it’s worse for Pokémon. But 90% of people buy Pokemon cards to collect and don’t even play I think it’s the opposite for Yugioh and there is maybe 10% who just collect singles. That’s why Pokemon is so so much more lucrative because you have people mostly younger who just want the cards and don’t care at all about playability
Many yugioh fans want a new rotating format, because the current "adavanced" format is so complex it's almost impossible for new players to get in. Konami in their infinite wisdom "fixed" this issue by making a whole new simplified game called yugioh rush duel but it's JP only so far
Ya I want them to make some sort of classic format I’m not sure. I loved Duel academy or what ever the app was that came out like 5-6 years ago when it had just the first few sets
