I still remember the wall discussion. I think the solution that was chosen - black behind white detailing - was a great idea. From a distance it looks white, but as you get closer you realize that at it's core it's made from a black rock, like the Orthanc.
I just saw this video and as a fan of Tolkien's work, I am in awe, lost for words, and I think with a little bit of tears; but I'll never admit! Looking forward to join the server!
As someone who recently finished watching LOTR, I am utterly amazed. I want to explore this minecraft server so badly, and I would love to help out in this project. (Though I would have no idea what to do tbh, my building skills kinda suck.:/)
Thank you! You are always welcome to come on the server and explore (see description for details). And anyone can learn to build, there have been builders that had never built before joining MCME. Only way to find out is to come on and try!
absolutely amazing work. i love exploring minas tirith. i can't wait to get a more powerful computer so that i can explore it easier, with a larger draw distance, lol.
Followed the Instagram account for a while and loved the single buildings, I'd like to know if the builds are all just placed around "randomly" or if there is an actual map to this, like the proper Middle-earth map
No matter what, all those great artists and movies and series there will be, never in my life I will be able to admire a better representation of this city, and never in my life I will see a city such as the one you built.
Hello! :D I have a question: What are the blocks u used in minas? Cause i cant remember any of these white bricks that where used. would love if you can answer me :) AWESOME BUILD!!!
You can not download or buy the map, however you can visit whenever you want through multiplayer on java, you can find the IP in the description, the server now runs on 1.18.2 (not 1.16.5 as it says in the description) but you can join on 1.17 as well.

There is a proper map, they're not placed randomly.

My fish also says “well hello”, his name is frank and sometimes I lose my schizophrenia pills in his tank

Hello! The white blocks are mainly quartz blocks and end stone that we have retextured. We use various custom resource packs for the server.
