I saw it life at the TACTICA in Hamburg. Super awesome, and by far my favorit creation of the whole fair. The young boy in me, whos gateway into the fantasy genre were the LOTR-movies, was really happy. Great job, Gerard!
Master level crafting. As a modeler with experience, working with those subtle curves and "lock in" buildings is not an easy feat. And your overall design, hiding seams is very well planned. Superb job.
Thats ASTONISHING!!!!!! your seam covering is AMAZING!!!! LOVE your architecture and foam work!!!!! It looks like it was mostly hand crafted not rolled which blows my mind. I've done brick work and people who haven't just don't understand what that entails in both time and effort!!!!! Really BEAUTIFUL work there Buddy!!!!!!!
I'm a little bit disappointed. I thought you're building the whole city of Minas Tirith in this scale and not only a part of it. 😂😂😂 Seriously: AWESOME and cudos to you! Absolutely great 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼!
Gerard, hebben ze je wel eens gek genoemd? Man wat een super toffe Minas Tirith! In theorie kan ik dat ook allemaal. In de praktijk kom ik op nog geen 5%! 👍👍👍
😲👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 it's amazing ! Have you ever thought about to send a Videolink to Weta Workshop who created the Miniatures for the LotR Movies ? I think there where impressed about your fantastic work.
So not really a replica of Minas Tirith, because the model does not conform to actual building or tower placement. This is just a fan-based idea using diorama using Tollien concepts.
You're just the most amazing foam builder around.
This is great, gives me inspiration to start bigger projects myself. You're truly a master of the craft.
Absolutely stunning work, im in awe of this project
Every time you put down a new building I’m like whoa, boa, wow!
That is freak'in amazballs!!!!

This is pure Art. It's beautiful. I can't wait to see it completed.
This is huge... so well designed and so well implemented. Congratz !
Breathtaking, probably as good if not better than the movie models they made for filming !! 👍
This is just amazing Gerard

This is the most beautiful and impresive scratch built terrain I have ever seen! I cant wait to see more. Keep up the great job!!
Wow! I'm glad the algorithm brought me here. Subscribed!

it is annoying i guess to hear how beautiful and well executed it is :D
These buildings are spectacular! They really bring scale and life to the larger structure that you've created! So atmospheric!
Absolutely amazing, glad to see it at the Tactica.
Du bist einfach nur Unglaublich, mehr kann ich dazu nicht sagen, einfach nur Sensationell

Have you thought about adding a cross slide to the tools you offer for the roxxon cutter?
similar to a band saw cross slide
Respekt, IT is Wonderfull!!!!!
The result is great, but the shaky camera makes it difficult to follow your description.
Ich hätte wirklich gerne mal gesehen wie du so ein imposantes Gebäude wie das Torhaus baust 👍🏻
gute idee, da kommt ein Mina’s tirith diorama tutorial…..
@@Shiftinglands das wäre toll
you do knowe that sunlight wil melt it al in time lol
superbe
Schick!
Had you considered using the occasional long hanging banner to cover a seam here and there?
Yes I did , and I will add Banners but there was no more time to do this before the convention of last weekend. Thanks for the feedback!
You can Say to me the name of materials please and sorry for my english
99% XPS foam
@@Shiftinglands thanks you
Amazing! If you and Lachie from Zorpazorp were one man you'd have all of Middle Earth and Numenor done by now. xD
Are you making the lower/outer wall black?
the camera person needs to stop shaking and moving the camera around so much it was giving me motion sickness....
Agreed, use a tripod on those shots.
Too big for the house 😅
