This is by far my favorite SR hard mode series by far. The reason being that it doesn't seem like you're going into knowing exactly what you need to do like so many others "perfect playthrough" style
You've probably figured this out already given the 200+ episodes, but for anyone watching today: if you're driving through mud or dirt, if you have the power, having cargo on your truck bed generally gives you a major boost to traction when pulling trailers.
Love the series btw, have had it on in the background while working and while playing SnowRunner too! Thinking of starting a hardmode campaign, though I limit myself in a lot of ways similar to hard mode in my own campaign.
I know Im late to the party but I just want to say I absolutely love everything about this video. The challenge, your play style, your commentary, and the fact that you seem to be such a nice humble person are right up my alley. Don't ever stop! Can't wait to watch the rest of the videos. Started playing on hard mode yesterday, I'll watch as i progress ahead. I did mess up repair the fleetstar with cash but oh well. Ill make up for it later.

Just started this series and love how you arent overly hype and more real. I love this game having 250 hours atm of typing this. I havent tried hard mode yet so watching this is really cool!

I’ve recently started getting back into snow runner after stopping sometime after the Yukon map got released, fuckin love this game an have been looking for a hard mode play through to watch since I’m also playing on hard mode
Wonderful play and commentary! I just discovered this game a few days ago and had some fun with the ez mode. Even with the ez mode, I got stuck many times and had to use free recover. It would be quite a challenge to get through the hard mode without prior knowledge of item locations, road conditions, proper arrangement of contracts etc.
Thanks for the kind words. 🙏🏼 Agreed, hard mode without much prior expereince would be very hard. I think I had done about 3/4 of Michigan and a little bit in Alaska before I started over in hard mode for these recording. Still learning now, 200 episodes later. 😊👍🏼

You could also go to the drill site from the back of the sawmill to grab a repair and fuel trailer. I made it with the bare bones whitestar

Pop the clutch to engage faster gear during an incline to maintain momentum over the crest without the truck stalling or downshifting to first gear

Spintires is even older than Mudrunner lmfao. It even got removed from Steam due to IP infringement. How can you like that more than this. :)))) This has better physics and tons more content.
right, I did get hooked on snowrunner eventually :) but Spintires still seems to have higher graphic fidelity. Visual elements are less... "muddy." The tires seem to have more physical contact with the ground, less floaty. This may be because of the tire inflation mechanic. Also, if you can hear the actual noise of the tires making contact with the different surfaces more, and binding when the diff lock is on. Its just a better graphical experience IMO. @@xXFeralArtsXx
Big mistake trying to get the watchtower in the swamp with a stock scout imo. Come back later because there’s lots of stuff to do.
