- Here's my stand-up comedy set annotated with all the times it breaches the Hate Crime Bill. I used a bit of poetic licence interpreting it - but not as much as the police and courts will when they send you down for cracking a joke or retweeting a limerick.
A lot of people have asked why there are no other Scottish comedians criticising the SNP. The answer is that the SNP own the two main comedy clubs in Scotland (the Stands in Glasgow and Edinburgh). If you want a career in comedy in Scotland, you'd better lick Sturgeon's boots.
The SNP absolutely will use the Hate Crime Bill to stifle dissent. They already use woke legislation to subvert the democratic process and sacking politicians who don't toe the party line, such as Joanna Cherry and Joan McAlpine, by labelling them "transphobes". Once gone, their seats are filled with party apparatchiks.
The Hate Crime Bill is unnecessary. Scotland is a friendly, welcoming place. How many bigoted racist homophobic Nazis do you know? And even when people do have ignorant or intolerant views, they're best dealt with socially, with words of guidance from friends, rather than by criminalising people.
Words like "racist" and "transphobe" are just used to smear people so that they can be cancelled, silenced and removed, just as the word "communist" was used in McCarthy era America or "witch" was used in Salem. The Hate Crime Bill enables this.

Who decides what constitutes as 'hate' and what are we allowed to 'hate?' This Hate Crime Bill aims to silence and target a specific group in Scotland, and the saddest thing is - few are even aware it has happened or understand the seriousness of it.
I support all the penalties for hate just as long as I'm the only person who gets to define it.
That is the deal that they are forcing down our throats.

I'm stunned and offended that I'm not able to hear and watch a comedian do his routine, without said comedian having to worry about getting arrested for simply making jokes that someone somewhere will find offensive and may not like the material and jokes that he's hearing, the fact that they can not watch it or listen to it without screaming hate crime, and get this man arrested, is terrifying, because the ridiculous laws in Scotland consider this act as a criminal offence is utterly unacceptable and immoral.

Speaking as someone who is politically on the left, been on XR protests, keen environmentalist and recognises the need to address many social issues; this was the funniest thing I have watched in ages and had me in stitches. Freedom of expression is essential. " This is an inclusive space, you have to leave", sums up the hipocracy of The Left when infected by woke culture. Standup is a great vehicle to offend. To have your ideology questioned and ridiculed is healthy. Hopefully, it gets people out of their cultural silos.

One of the means they're using to address Morrisseys unwokeness is to make the character based on Morrissey overweight, fat shaming in other words.
