TINY NATION!!! I love it! The first girl that ever danced with me was a Tiny Person. Kristie "Krissy" Letson! I'll never forget her! I'm 6'2" now. I still consider her beloved.
I had a feeling you would like Time Wave. I figured it would be right up your alley. Normally this is not my kind of music but somehow Babymetal manages to pull me in and make me love it. Well, I know why. If Su is singing it, I'm loving it. It's that simple. 🙂
Hey Ty-Metal, they just released two live videos from the Blu-rays and an interview from Fox 5 NYC , the two videos are Divine Attack and MAYA, I know you already know the songs, but they are pretty awesome.
I can't even put into words how this song makes me feel. The deep meanings I get from the lyrics. The driving force of Su's voice and the melodic trance the whole musicality puts me under. I 1000% agree. Time Wave is my favorite Babymetal song of all time. Pushing Catch Me If You Can, Syncopation, and Yava down a notch on my top 3 list. Something about this song hits just right in the feels and emotions center of my soul. I can't explain it. I feel the God of Motion. ❤
Those unexplained feelings are when you know that a song really hits you on another level and may be the best measure to use. Happy that this is the one that does that for you!
Great reaction to a fantastic performance of a fantastic song. The term “ear worm” could’ve been invented for it. The choreography too is absolutely brilliant. Su’s English is awesome too. Her diction is perfect & they seem determined to use it more although I will always want them to sing in their own beautiful language.
Great reaction to a great song! I don't have this one at the top of my rankings, but that's not to take away from the fact that I really do enjoy it a lot and the vibe it adds to the album. You are certainly in for a treat with the 5 remaining songs on this album, can't wait to see them! 🦊
And here is Babymetals appeal, something heavy, some like, some sweet and something cool. And one more thing, over the 4 albums there is not a bad song like at all. and this is rare for an artist.
I thought "Time Wave" had a very similar vibe to Perfume's song. Maybe it's not surprising since they are from the same music school and are taught by the same choreographer, but THE OTHER ONE's song is especially similar to Perfume's.
The Other One is definitely my fave album from Babymetal.... Its got such a nice blend of electronic, metal, great vocals from Su, cultural flavours like Metalizm.... When I heard the song From Dusk Till Dawn, I was hoping more along those lines from Babymetal, and this album is it. 😁🤘🦊🤘
My favourite part is their "anime style" of running at the end during the awesome outro. Wish it was a tad longer! 😄I'm liking the live version more because the guitars are way more prominent and you can hear some organic drums at times. Still towards the bottom of my list of Babymetal songs because of the American pop sound in some short parts. The rest is awesome.
I'm glad it's one of your favorites. Like it or not, EDM elements have always been a part of BABYMETAL. It's not a new thing. That's what the girls need to sing, dance, and express their lives and history. Life is truly a merry-go-round. It's not nostalgia, it's like a philosophy that's etched into their bodies, and the good thing is that it's clearly different from the popular songs that are just trying to be popular. By the way, there is a video on RUclips of BABYMETAL and SKRILLEX performing together at an EDM festival called ULTRA JAPAN 2015😓
This became your favorite BABYMETAL song of all time? I was excited to watch your reaction to this song from an EDM producer perspective and it did NOT disappoint!
One of the really fun parts of the live performances is the intro they do at the start of the songs to build up the tension in the audience. Personally, this one doesn't grab me as much as some of the other songs on TOO, but it was spectacular to see live with the visuals and the choreo. Lol at the PassCode mention. Lots of Babymetal fans know PassCode, though I think opinions very a fair bit due to the heavy use of Vocaloid. I think they're neat in small doses, but they lean a bit too much into the J-pop side for me to really get into them.
I watch all your Babymetal reactions. You can tell you really like them. Did you know that they had a sister group, Metalverse? There are some live videos of them at Summer Sonic that would be cool to see you react to.
Hey! It's awesome that you mentioned PassCode. Actually, PassCode is one the Kawaii Metal 4 great ones. Being the other 3 Babymetal, Lady baby and Death Rabbits. Babymetal's success inspired some producers to create Idol groups with similar Pop x Metal style. First came Babymetal, then came Death Rabbits, then PassCode and the last one was Ladybaby. Other groups came later, but they weren't as successful and most of them abandoned the heavy style in favor of a lighter pop/rock. Sadly, these days only PassCode and Babymetal remain, both Death Rabbits and Ladybaby split up like a couple of years ago, but they were amazing, too.
As the title suggests, this song has the feeling of riding a time machine, riding the waves of time, and being transported to another world.
One of my favorites too.🦊🤘🌐

I really enjoy the EDM portions. I love how experimental BABYMETAL is.
Great reaction - as Su said "Feel it!"🦊
when the sound moves, the panning effect, look at momos hands, the dance shows where the sound moves, this sis so cool effect-.

Nice reaction. When you get to monochrome you should look up the first take version too. Very different from the original but very very good.

I love EDM and it works so well, it's spooky 🤘🦊🤘
Your favorite... So far. Wait until you get to Monochrome (especially if you do the F1rst Take piano version) 😁

I love metal, I love Babymetal, and I love Time Wave. This song captivated me from the first time I listened it.
When the album came out this song went unnoticed by me, but when I saw the live videos it quickly became my favorite on the album.

Time Wave is composed by MK-METAL which is Miki Watanabe, and from what I can tell she has not composed anything for Pefume.

Cool tune✨💙 English pronunciation is very difficult for Japanese.
👍 👍
Great reaction.
Time Wave is one of my favorites from the new album and this LIVE performance is so good.

Su-metal’s voice→→Laser Beam≅😮
My favorite song on TOO.
I'm glad it's one of your favorites.

I think the only song on this album done completely in English is "Believing", but don't hold me to that.
One of the really fun parts of the live performances is the intro they do at the start of the songs to build up the tension in the audience.

No I didn't know that! I will definitely check them out! Thank you!
I like the song title anyway.
Best song on the album, which is saying something as it’s a damn good album. I was surprised, given how disappointed I was in the last one.
All their albums are amazing
Thx for PassCode. i really enjoy their kind of music now and didnt know them before
