gotta put the chrome trim around the wheel arches but honestly thought it looked terrible while he was fitting it but it looks pretty fucking good aired out.
I agree, I’m not opposed to the kit but I think it’s gonna need something like that trim to keep the “class”. Maybe trim the wheel arches to fit, I think the car would look best with chrome wheels like something on a CLK AMG but bigger.
Paint those pieces all a light brown color, except the front bumper has to be painted black even with the height of the side skirt. Two tone would look great.
@@199hamill Adam is also a hoarder of rare car parts, he has connections on where to get parts so it's easy for Mike to just ask Adam where to get the parts that he's looking for.
Personally I like the chrome cladding. Perhaps you can go with what you wanted originally for the ls400.. have it two-tone black and silver. I think that will give it that classy VIP look and it will break up the body line a little so it won’t look so much like a black featureless brick. Also, those meisters look super tiny on the car
Wow Mike Those Meisters Look Clean Bro, But Pretty Tiny On That Boat On Wheels, They Def Look About '8' To '10'Inches Too Small, What Size Are They 12's "LoL" J.K. Bud They Still Look Clean Tho, Im Thinking If U Can Fit 22's Tucked With The Air All The Way Down Then 22's Would Kill It & Ita Make It Look Sick AF 💯✅✔ Keep Em Coming My Boy 💯✅✔✅✔✅✔✅💯
26:06 NEED to get a custom DIVINE neon sign made, and hang it up in a blacked out photo set for that duo poster. also I forget the details, but someone in the Japanese VIP scene once said the meaning of VIP is for a young punk to cruise around in a modified super expensive luxury car and make all the old onlookers wonder to themselves how the hell they got that car. I think you are nailing the spirit with this build, and still keeping it tasteful, respectful to the car and keeping it mostly reversible.
Hey Mike I just had major back surgery Monday and your video is right on time. I was hoping the Century content was going to be soon so thank you. Now you just have to get Sammit on the right page. And as far as my opinion on what you're doing with the car I 100% support what you're doing. Everyone should be able to personalize their vehicles and what you're doing isn't tacky so thumbs up.
Your videos inspired me to get a LS400 I can’t wait to mod it. Left the car scene when my slammed hardbody got stollen and it killed me inside but seeing your videos gave me a spark to do a VIP build like I’ve always wanted🫡
Car looks awesome, dude and seriously all it needs is just sexier bigger rims on it... Cant wait seeing the kit in shiny black, definitely following this build! Great work 👏
If the fronts are et22 and you added say a 5mm spacer they are now a et17 not higher et. Shaving the pad would make them a higher offset as the wheel would be inset more. Car looks sick! Can't wait to see it painted. Also waiting for some exhaust mods to see what the Toyota v12 sounds like!
At first I was a little apprehensive over how it will turn out when you first said you were going to do this. So far I think it will turn out sick! I really like these Toyota Century cars.
The reveal after putting the body kit and work meister's man it looks absolutely sick man who looks totally dope good choice can't wait to see him fully painted you should go with something similar to the rims maybe with a chrome lip man looks amazing Mike amazing job love your content!!! Durst Hayden KindSoul Motorsports Lincoln City Oregon
Been a long time viewer, love your style, keep doing you, that’s why I watch your content man. Good vibes coming all the way from Vermont!! Keep up the great work and the dedication to your craft, your content has helped me get through tough times, hope to run into you again at Wolfsgart.
With The kit is what the century shoulda looked like from the factory tbh, it extends the car just enough. But what’s the idea for paint tho cause two tone would look pretty baller 🫣
the other thing you can do for the add-one skirts and lips and door pieces like around 12:41 in the video is use a weatherstriping like s2000 front lip weather striping, it sticks to the skirt side with adhesive and provides a nice oem finish that prevents rubbing between the panels as well!
Kit looks awesome. Wheels...not so much. Love that you're having custom wheels make with the stock style though. I love when people do stuff like that (like the Drift HQ C4). Nice work.
At 2018 I worked at russian bodyshop and i did reassembling of this kit, but it was short v8 version and I remember cutting off this door pisces with string. Btw car that i worked on came from Fukushima zone already with this body kit and was stored for years at the customs for some reason.
Dope! Love how the cladding just adds that little bit more to help balance out the middle section ~ reminds me of how the ones on my GVR-4 are or an AMG Type 1/2 Galant do the same as well!
damn the Meisters really fits the bodykit imo :D giving the Century more like a racing look vibe. Definitely can't wait 'til the body kits are painted and matched with the 3 piece stock wheel.
I’m awful judging unpainted body kits, I like the idea and I think it will look good. My concern is the trim, it made the car that much more unique. Is there a way to give it that “class” somehow without the trim?
With the stock body it looks like something that the president would ride in . With the body kit it looks like something that a Yakuza boss would ride in . 👍
Chrome wheels are an absolute necessity on this thing. Since you took all the chrome off the lower half of the car, the wheels need to pick up the slack to keep the balance of chrome on the car from looking too top-heavy. The kit does look totally fire though, a good choice indeed.
There are some wheels made for the mid 60s Lincoln Continental by Isotope Wheels. Some of their styles might look really good on here. Since this is a very JDM car but it obviously kind of has the old American big body luxury look and feel to it.
As much as im not a chrome guy, the car looks like it may need just a smidge of it back for the lower half. It looked really balanced aesthetically with the full lower and upper chrome bits
With the kit being paint matched black have you thought about the door handles and window molding. Black chrome or just powder coat black would give it the real Dark Night VIP vib.
Wasn't sure how a body kit would look on a century but this fits the car extremely well, excited for you Mike
gotta put the chrome trim around the wheel arches but honestly thought it looked terrible while he was fitting it but it looks pretty fucking good aired out.
The factory chrome stuff made the car look much more classy
I agree, I’m not opposed to the kit but I think it’s gonna need something like that trim to keep the “class”. Maybe trim the wheel arches to fit, I think the car would look best with chrome wheels like something on a CLK AMG but bigger.
Totally agree
Completely agree on that
This car is a wh0r3 it's not supposed to be classy.
Yeah, I like the OEM stuff better too, and I would put fat face wheels, or some vintage Japanese looking wheels
Paint those pieces all a light brown color, except the front bumper has to be painted black even with the height of the side skirt. Two tone would look great.
You have like a bizarre skill at finding the most obscure but awesome body kits available! First the nsx martha hills kit and now this! So good!
He works for Adam LZ so yeah
@@powergray8682 and? What does that have to do with anything…
Junction Produce isn't obscure... they're possibly the most famous name in vip body kits.
@@199hamill Adam is also a hoarder of rare car parts, he has connections on where to get parts so it's easy for Mike to just ask Adam where to get the parts that he's looking for.
@@powergray8682 Adam has no interest in vip cars lol, I do my own research
You have single handedly made me appreciate really well fitted cars and VIP cars. I want to daily a bagged VIP so bad
You should make the stock wheels into a 20 inch 3 piece wheel. It looks so good so far.
This is gunna turn out sooooo good. N love how nothing is cut or chopped so it can go straight back to factory.
Personally I like the chrome cladding. Perhaps you can go with what you wanted originally for the ls400.. have it two-tone black and silver. I agree bro
mike your century is absolutely beautiful and will only keep looking better. have me want one more with each video you upload.
Yeah that rig slaps hard. Keen as to see the final form,on wheels.

Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for using Drum&Bass Mike 💜
Always loved the Century! You just made the car hotter! Congratulations!
It looks siiiiiiick aired out! Can't wait to see it one color on the converted stock wheels!
Hell yeah. Custom VIP at its finest. Looks great can't wait to see it finished. Wheels look perfect on it!!
This body kit really makes the Century looks like a much fancier Celsior. So cool
26:06 NEED to get a custom DIVINE neon sign made, and hang it up in a blacked out photo set for that duo poster.

Completely transformers the look of the car. Makes me want one even more now
Just don’t loose that insane smooth ride quality in the process! Looks amazing, can’t wait to see it painted
Your intro is the best I've seen!! It never ceases to amaze me 🔥
It is nice seeing VIP cars in new videos. Love this and the ls400. Keep doing amazing
Car looks awesome, dude and seriously all it needs is just sexier bigger rims on it... Cant wait seeing the kit in shiny black, definitely following this build! Great work 👏
So rad!!! Loving this build, I hope you're getting some JP wheels next. Have it looking like it rolled out of an old JP catalog
I like it so far I’m excited to see the wheels done and it all black
Love the channel man, the century is coming together amazingly. Kit looks beautiful and almost like a 2 tone even with the meisters
Perfect timing. Back in my trailer to my dock door to be loaded and now I got a good video to watch.
Keep the chrome alive
The 3 piece oem wheels are gonna go nuts
All black with some dope rims this will look pure gangster, love where this is goin ;).
The front bumper looks so good!
This thing in either all white or all black is gonna be badass
I think it looks awesome with the body kit on. I'm also really liking the two tone panda look on the car!
Farkin sick Mile 👊🏻👍🏻 🥰 I think it needs the trunk spoiler 😉

Looks absolutely f$&@ing amazing bro!! Holy crap!!! I love it!!
Loooooks sick. Reminds me of an old studebaker hot rod almost with that kit

So beautiful man, definitely love the vision! You are one of the reasons i got a Ls400, its a Ucf10 but i love it

The junction produce kit goes so hard. At first I was skeptical but their stuff is good.

With The kit is what the century shoulda looked like from the factory tbh, it extends the car just enough. But what’s the idea for paint tho cause two tone would look pretty baller 🫣
I'm excited to see it painted. I think it will look great with less chrome. Those meisters look tiny though.
With the chrome gone I think black and silver 2 tone would look good on this car but I’m sure whatever u have planned will be just as good
Junction Produce is the goat for a reason
Kit looks great and awesome to have it fitting so mint. not a massive fan of the front bumper but very hard to tell with the kit not been painted.

Clean af haven’t seen one of these is a minute
Body kit fits the car muuuch better than the one for LS400, car looks fire, great decision!
underrated channel!! this century is so clean
I’m awful judging unpainted body kits, I like the idea and I think it will look good. My concern is the trim, it made the car that much more unique. Is there a way to give it that “class” somehow without the trim?
Smaller wheels is a vibe!!
I don’t have a import but my wife and I have own rubicon our 2 year old love the waving sign especially at night he can’t leave it alone
Kit looks gangster! NGL gonna miss the chrome!
Absolute quality as always, I think the misters do look great (different spec though lol)
I can imagine that poster vision. I don’t think people are ready for it dude. It’s gonna be sooo hard.
Definitely needs a 19 inch rim. Either way looking amazing.
That looks amazing!🤩
Wow looks amazing great work
With the stock body it looks like something that the president would ride in . With the body kit it looks like something that a Yakuza boss would ride in . 👍
looks sick on the works
So are you repeating the whole process of nuts and bolts when it gets painted? What a process love the body kit!
Lookin spicy, I’m excited for this build

Yea this is going to be so sick!!
It's looks amazing, awesome work. Are there areas to put screws underneath the side skirt too? Cheers
This build is just getting crazier. So are you going to do a 10 layer paint job to match the body? Or just a simple modern paintjob?
Looks good with them wheels an kit
are you gonna put the marker pole on the new bumper?
Really liking the kit, maybe a two tone paintjob would look great on this?
A dark metallic silver possibly?
i love it!!
Have you considered replacing the chrome bits with black chrome (like polished hematite effect)?
Could you put nut certs into the door cladding to have them bolt on the bottom using factory location, and use adhesive on the top side?
Not a fan of chrome so I love it. Never liked this car till now can't wait to see the end product.
I hope you go full super perfectionist and do the body kit as if Toyota did it as a century option.✌️
There are some wheels made for the mid 60s Lincoln Continental by Isotope Wheels. Some of their styles might look really good on here. Since this is a very JDM car but it obviously kind of has the old American big body luxury look and feel to it.
This thing kinda looks sweet in the 2 tone
As much as im not a chrome guy, the car looks like it may need just a smidge of it back for the lower half. It looked really balanced aesthetically with the full lower and upper chrome bits
that black and white 2 tone looks good 😅
mike got the most gangster cars so dope
Looks good definitely need bigger wheels though. Some 20s would fit the big body really good
i think you should run the lip spoiler. although subtle it'll add heaps to the boxiness
Love what you do on this channel man! That being said…those Meisters look goofy as a clowns nose on this car.
This car is just like my friends car in Florida, same kit and everything lol
Hoping place the bumper pole back. It gives the taste of premium looks
looks insane 👍🏼
With the kit being paint matched black have you thought about the door handles and window molding. Black chrome or just powder coat black would give it the real Dark Night VIP vib.
Gives Nissan Gloria or President vibes with the kit, doesn’t have that Century look but I don’t hate it
