I remember how Abraxas just mesmerized me with Santana's guitar. Go ahead and say he's on the "decline" and "has lost a bit". Carlos is like a fine wine. Always has something to offer to make us sit up and take notice. This is an awesome version of Black Magic Woman and Oye Como Va. If you haven't seen the Woodstock video of Soul Sacrifice, check it out.
Too bad the recording quality and audio aren't the best but I'm thankful for this video.

What a show. We were blown away. Section 314. Not far from this angle.

He's lost a bit...as age can do to any guitarist of his expertise.

Friend, a London-based UK fan of Carlos and his mesmerizing group of musicians who have entertained my ears and soul since 1972. From this clip - I have lost count at 38 the number of times I have seen him live - and, yes, he does seem a little jaded and tired which is no real surprise at his age. BUT I am also a MASSIVE fan of Robin Trower who is of a similar age and who played a simply sublime concert here on May 28: one of the best shows I've seen RT perform and seemed many years younger that his 79 in truth. I just feel blessed to have had these two absolute legends in my life [i'm 71], lifting my soul and spirits over the years.💕💕👏👏
