    One of the nicest presentations of this kit. Well done!

    Amazing kit!!!! Absolutely love this kit. All tunings sounded great but that low tuning sounds like heaven to me. In low tuning I still prefer the bb’s, much more beef and low end from the bubinga, medium tuning both the wb and bb’s sound perfect, and then high tuning I prefer the wb’s, just a little more tone and mids to balance it out. Can’t go wrong with either one!! Tama drums are simply the best

    When it's turned up higher it actually sounds fantastic

    I enjoy how you do not show off, and simply make the drums sing!

    Medium and low sound fantastic, High is ok and I think would be much better with coated heads. I just ordered this kit in Blue ocean ripple. Not sure I will use the 10" tom but it was the only way I could get the color I wanted with the shortages going on nowadays. Thanks for the review.

    Nice demo. Those drums sound amazing. And is that a German accent I hear?

    Last weekend I replaced my Gretsch Renown with the Tama Starclassic and so far I am impressed. I am replacing both batter and reso heads in the next couple of days. The stock heads are garbage. Will update with the results.

      Cool thanks. I‘m curious about what you are going to say about the new heads!

      Made the right move. The Tama starclassics imo are in a class of their own, outside of the Tama star line, the starclassics are just the best. I have the Tama starclassic bb hyperdrive and wouldn’t trade it for anything. The bb’s have more low end and beef but I will say the wb’s sound better at higher tunings compared to the bb’s. Luckily for me I like my kit tuned medium-low so no worries for me but the walnut birch is a great replacement.

      ..." stok heads are garbage " - !!!??? sinds when are Evans G2 ( batter ) garbage ? Tama Power craft heads ( resonant ) are better than Remo UT ( made in China ) !

    I agree with you that kit sounds best tuned to medium. Low a good second. High not so much, but that’s just me.

      @@ThomannsDrumBash Thank you! It sounds great. Any dampening on it? In your experience, would you say this or the Tama Starphonic aluminum is drier and or fatter?

    • @ThomannsDrumBash
      @ThomannsDrumBash  4 года назад

      A always put one little Skygel damper pad close to the Remo sign. I actually don‘t know the Tama Starphonic Aluminum Snare. But would be great to do a video about different aluminum Snares :)

    Too dry of a sound I think. There's no body in this shells.
