Steph “That’s for another Rimzies video” Adam “Is that one after we’ve had therapy” I think you are to deep into the Rimzies universe to go back now 😂😂
I just started the video, but honestly, I think a video about how your OCD affect your art would be really neat! If you guys do it, I would definitely watch it! (I mean, I watch all your videos anyway, but still)
I am still completely blo wn away at the details she put into and all the cuts, openings, blue tack, real liFE She put liTTLE LIBRARY STAMPS IN IT FOR GOODNESS SAKE That’s it I’m going to start the makings of not a Rimzies, but just my world that I have in mind, and just d o it. Not worry about what anyone thinks and just have a genuine, worry-free art time-
Aging hippie here. Steph's Rimzies creations at such a young age are a certified hallmark of genius. I had to try & raise 3 of them-I recognize the signs. She' absolutely brilliant.
At 11/12 I was playing neopets and drawing the first 2 pages of manga ideas and that was as far as any of those got. At the same age Steph was into Tolkien level worldbuilding.
I remember when I was little I made little rooms with shoe boxes and I would make little stands for all the people and tables and stuff. I remember begging my mom to take to the dollar store to but ductape for wall paper
AWW that's so sweet!! I once made a shoebox house that I decorated with loose wallpaper scraps. One of my grandparents ended up putting their shoes back in it though so that was the end of THAT universe 😂
I’m about to watch this video while cleaning my guinea pigs’ cage! So excited! I HAVE BEEN WAITING!!! Rimzies is my favorite alternate universe with animals, pencil crayon, marker, and blue tac.
They had to get tossed, but my brother and I used to make entire towns with recycling materials. The only rule was that the new house/stores we made, had to stay out as a shoebox. Protip: if you peel the top layer off a piece of cardboard, the remaining material makes for some cool textures, and drybrushing lighter brown over darker, or even black makes for some awesome looking, wood paneling.
When I was that age, I would write stories, illustrate them, and bind them together into books. My mom was a teacher, so I had access to a laminator and a long-arm stapler at the school. All my little books had laminated cardstock covers :P In 5th grade my friends and I made a Pokemon-style trading card system and illustrated a bunch of the cards. It was based around magical cats that were all shamelessly designed based on the tutorials in a "How to Draw" cats book at the school's library. In 6th grade one of those friends and I invented a fantasy world full of our own mythical creatures, and for a couple years I was writing a series of very soap opera worthy stories with those creatures as the characters. Unfortunately that series was written on the old family computer and at some point along the way didn't get backed up.
Steph your creativity as a kid AMAZES me!!! and the fact that you're still so amazingly creative today!! When I was 11 and 12 was when I started writing original stories, but I never created anything as huge and complex as Rimzies!!
AHHHHHH rimzies part #3 is finally here!!!!!! I've watched the original videos so many times! They're basically my go-to feel-good videos because it they never fail to make me laugh!
When I was 12 ish, I wrote an anime that quickly went from screenplay, to novel. I had this is idea to combine my drawn characters into the pages of the story. I spent time writing and getting the whole thing perfect.
I remember when I was a quite a bit younger, we had a set of books that led us through activities, drawing, painting, etc. I remember making an armada of ships, created from paper! Yep long before the internet! I recreated battles and even “sunk” ships! I have no idea what happened to all of those projects. You have a unique collection of art made by you. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Art is an endless source of entertainment, it is great to see how creative Steph was as a child and how her creativity and resourcefulness has continued to be such an inspiration to so manny. You can have such great fun with so little, you only need some paper a pencil and your imagination. I still have a big stack of mangas that I drew when I was at that age, that I had so much fun making all in printerpapper and pencil -_-,
When I was 11/12 it was 2005, and I would play outside with my best friend and we'd make up stories and live through them. Sometimes I'd take boxes from my mom and build houses and we'd play with that.
I can't believe it! Steph you are so crazy creative! I feel like i was such a dumb kid now 😅 i'm so impressed! 😍 A grown up smaller version would be awesome to see/make 😏
we have all been blessed on this day!!! thank you!!!! steph is an icon of creativity!!!! when i was 11 i was making a magazine with my best friend and i drew a comic for it about two pigs. every one was carefully crafted so the pigs could make a pun at the end, that was the whole purpose lmao. we interviewed our parents and stuff for this magazine and then made them pay money for it rip
Steph's smile when Adam is complementing her is to die for! It is so wholesome and filled with love. You two are just so sweet and this was a great conclusions to Rimzies
"I want to try and recreate them would you guys want to see that?" YES, one thousand times yes. Honestly, I would love to see you recreate ANY of Rimzies, I think it would be very thrilling! ..I would be thrilled....
omg...that's amazing. .... will never question your need to swatch and catalogue every colour art supply that crosses your path. I love your creativity!
I love when you guys laugh, your guys laughs make me smile and laugh. Hope you guys are having an amazing week Edit: In 2003 I was 1 if it was after August 😂
I feel so humbled looking at the Rimzies, I used to cut out little squares of paper, fold them In half and write a short story into them when I was little. But steph took it into a whole nother level, it’s so intricate and creative ⭐️
Hooray! Rimzies! I think when I was that age I was making weird illustrated game guides for Sims and Neopets, and writing extra bits for Harry Potter and the Titanic xD nothing as brilliant as Rimzies though.
Reminds me of fuzzy felt sets. Does anyone else remember those? You are so inventive Steph. Thanks for finding this for us. Hope you can one day make this into a computer game. Love your scoring system 🤣
Me and my friend used to create monster/aliens, we would draw them like one of those dinosaurs/animal books, use a human for size, what they would eat and stuff like that... we would create the environment and the different plants that would grow there too! Ahhh good times cx
I admire your creativity Steph. As for what we were doing in 2003 well I was raising kids. However, I have never created anything like what you have done. I am so impressed.
All throughout elementary school I used to draw a city I called Numbertown on the back of all my notebooks. All the inhabitants were numbers and lived in houses made out of the same number. I remember the 1s were very wealthy (multiple mansions and sports cars abound). The 4s were very poor (they always lived in the rundown apartment complex), and zero was a crazy retired military general who lived in a blimp above the city. I would design a different version of the city for each subject. Sometimes it was in the mountains, or underwater or in space, but the families were always the same.
You had such a great imagination! I recently looked through some of my old drawings and stories I wrote as a kid and it's amazing what things I thought up. Nothing quite like this though, very impressive!
This is making all the memories of my childhood drawings flood back too. I used to design houses, and families for the houses. I had a folder dedicated to that too. but sadly it's lost for good! Rimzies is on a whole other level though, what a universe you created. All the tiny little pieces are really impressive and so creative too!
Ohhh this reminds me of my own fashion empire! I had a whole catalogue drawn out with prizes and all XD also I had a paint shop where I would paint 'walls' (aka a3 paper)
it would be really interesting to hear about how your ocd affected your artwork, steph, but also how you've overcome certain ocd related struggles within your artwork. i used to really enjoy drawing when i was much younger, but then when my ocd kind of piqued it was difficult to get my drawings exactly how i wanted them, so art became something very stressful for me instead of fun. if you've had a similar problem id really like to know how you got past it, especially because im still kind of in that funk.
I have been rewatching all your videos! I can get enough of you guys! Proud to say I’ve been a fan for about 4-5 years, I remember coming across your yt channel and felt like I shouldn’t watch u because I remember being told dating was bad so I didn’t think I would be aloud to watch. Thank you for being such a wholesome yt channel and I’m definitely going to be sharing your content with my kids some day.
When I was 11 or 12 I was playing Sims and Minecraft making huge towns and families every little thing with a little story. Custom NPCs were a life saver.
When i was a kid i didnt make anything as detailed as yours, but I did have littlest pet shops and i would make rooms for them, and furniture. Also clothes for them! It was alot of fun. Sometimes I just wanna get them out, and set them up to look at them! :)
Ps. I know I've mentioned this in the comments before but I would love to see what you guys think of making a Sir Monty plushie!!! Please share ur thoughts cause I think it would be adorable!!!
I would love to see this get developed into an actual toy! Make like, on a smaller scale but I can definitely get behind this sort of imaginative play. It's so impressive you did this all yourself Steph!!
I have been waiting so patiently for Rimzies Part 3!!! Ever since you announced you found the folder I was thinking “I NEED THE THIRD VIDEOOOOO”. Thank you!!!
This reminds me of the time I made magazines with my best friend, I still got like 15 printer paper books about stuff like music, toys, gardening, art, it's so nice to look back at :)
Steph this is amazing ♥️♥️ I loved drawing miniature stuff and interactive drawings/papercraft when I was a kid but I never had my own intertwining universe, it's so cool 😁
I love how amazingly detailed Steph’s universe is! I used to make similar stuff when I was a kid, but I’d get bored quickly and so mine never evolved to this much detail. I did have some things where I glued books that would open to pages, and closet doors and stuff like that. If you guys publish these, I will totally buy them!
rimzies? *looks off into the abyss* i havent heard that name in a long time
The legend
The, Rimzies
Major motion picture coming 2024
Gosh it’s been a year for me
/2
Normal children draw and write stories and then there’s steph creating a more complex universe than marvel 😂😂😂
If steph legit made an online game or something out of rimzies, I would be on that like flies on poop.
That’s a fantastic metaphor and I love it
Steph “That’s for another Rimzies video”
Adam “Is that one after we’ve had therapy”
I think you are to deep into the Rimzies universe to go back now
😂😂
Steph: I wanna talk about how my OCD affected my art
Adam: *looking at The Rimzies Trilogy* you-
I always love all the intricate details of these Rimzies logs. They’re so SATISFYING.
I just inhaled all of the oxygen in my room. IM SO EXCITED. I LOVE RIMZIES!!!! 😍😍😍
LOL thanks for joining us Maddi!!
Maddi Grocott lol, me too!
I just started the video, but honestly, I think a video about how your OCD affect your art would be really neat! If you guys do it, I would definitely watch it! (I mean, I watch all your videos anyway, but still)
this would be really interesting!! :)
Move aside star wars this is the True Trilogy
Steph needs to have all these books published!!! This is AMAZING!
You are so sweet T___T
As a former teacher, I wish you had been in my class. Amazing!
I am interested in two cinematic universes... marvel and R I M Z I E S
This is the correct answer
Steph: Celia's Dream
Adam: CELIA'S NIGHTMARE
I am still completely blo wn away at the details she put into and all the cuts, openings, blue tack, real liFE
She put liTTLE LIBRARY STAMPS IN IT FOR GOODNESS SAKE
That’s it
I’m going to start the makings of not a Rimzies, but just my world that I have in mind, and just d o it. Not worry about what anyone thinks and just have a genuine, worry-free art time-
We finally see the long waited end of the trilogy.
It was worth the wait believe us LOL

Too right.
The only use I had for blutak at that age was adding body parts to my friends ken doll.
Can't believe Steph's dedication and imagination.
You can see the 90’s/ early 2000’s influences omg
I remember when I was little I made little rooms with shoe boxes and I would make little stands for all the people and tables and stuff. I remember begging my mom to take to the dollar store to but ductape for wall paper

I’m about to watch this video while cleaning my guinea pigs’ cage! So excited! I HAVE BEEN WAITING!!! Rimzies is my favorite alternate universe with animals, pencil crayon, marker, and blue tac.
IM SO EXCITED BY THIS.
And I'm like... Steph... When you're bored, why not do it all over?
You should make a new Rimzies™️ station: Rimzies Therapy®️
Don’t feel bad Steph, my first animal crossing town was named “town” 😂
Mine was called Rina, because I thought it was asking me for my name 😂
Mine was called MaKayla's, because I thought it was going to put the word "town" after whatever I put 🤣
I named mine forest fire..... not thinking of it.....
They had to get tossed, but my brother and I used to make entire towns with recycling materials. The only rule was that the new house/stores we made, had to stay out as a shoebox.

These are so cute, I think I somehow missed Rimzies Book 1 & 2!
Oh no! You got to catch it from the beginning if you haven't watched it yet. 😁
The Rimzies Universe is bigger than Skyrim and the Zelda Timeline.
are you ever tempted to retry making a rimzie page?
I can not explain how crazily cool this is, that just takes so much time and effort to do. I love your creativity!

It’s clear to see you were born to create.
When I was 12 ish, I wrote an anime that quickly went from screenplay, to novel. I had this is idea to combine my drawn characters into the pages of the story. I spent time writing and getting the whole thing perfect.

Rimzies the finale is going to be Steph getting sued by every company she stole ideas from 😂
You put more effort into that project than the combined amount of effort I've put into my whole life 😂
I got so excited when I got the notification!
You should make a rimzies activity book! For real! I'd buy it!
It would be fun to see you recreate your home in Rimzies or make a new Rimzies home for Adam.
